In recent years,with the continuous development of the science and technology as well as the increasingly expanded scale of the engineering practice activities,the role of the engineering elites has become increasingly essential.The engineering quality possessed by the engineering elites has become a key factor in China's economic and social development,the new industrialization construction and scientific and technological progress.Among them,the engineering awareness is an indispensable part of the engineering quality,but the current research on the engineering awareness mainly focuses on college students,almost no primary or middle school students are involved in it.From this aspect,the engineering awareness of the students in the basic education stage does not be paid ample attention for the academy.However,from the perspective of education,the cultivation of the engineering awareness should cover all stages of the education and the "disconnection" phenomenon should be avoided.The engineering awareness of students should be consciously cultivated and established from an early age.Further study on how to cultivate students' engineering awareness in primary school is conducive to deepening students' understanding of engineering and improving students' innovative ability and comprehensive quality.From the perspective of the engineering philosophy,following the law of physical and psychological development of primary school students,combined with the analysis and research of engineering-related curriculum standards in primary school issued by the Ministry of Education,the paper attempts to construct a theoretical model of engineering awareness in primary school students,analyze of existing problems and proposes some relevant training strategies.The details are as follows:Firstly,the paper introduces the research background,research purpose as well as the research significance,and defines the related concepts of engineering consciousness through the study of engineering concepts in engineering philosophy.At the same time,it combs the research status of engineering consciousness cultivation of primary school students at home and abroad,and analyses the theoretical basis of engineering consciousness cultivation of primary school students.Secondly,through the analysis of the curriculum standards and contents including the science in primary school and the comprehensive course of practice in primary and middle schools,the primary school students'engineering awareness is positioned,and the internal elements are discussed.Ten elements of engineering awareness that primary school students should cultivate:the element of practice awareness,element of system awareness,element of innovation awareness,element of people-oriented awareness,element of environment awareness,element of teamwork awareness,element of aesthetics awareness,element of safety awareness,element of rule awareness,element of and economy awareness.Finally,this paper analyzes the present problems in the engineering awareness of the primary school students,and puts forward the teaching strategies,and discusses about the implementation methods of the engineering awareness of the primary school students from the aspects of knowledge classroom,practical operation activities,extracurricular activities and curriculum evaluation.
