Innovation is the soul of national development.Under the background of the internationalization of knowledge economy,countries in the world attach great importance to the cultivation of innovative talents.To enhance students' innovative literacy and cultivate innovative talents have become a significant goal of education field all countries in the world.As a kind of education model for cultivating future compound talents,STEAM education aims to cultivate students' ability to start,innovate and comprehensively apply multidisciplinary knowledge to solve problems,and fully embody the concept of quality education.The innovative,experimental and comprehensive middle school biology education can effectively cultivate students' innovative spirit,consciousness and ability,and its education value is increasingly recognized by the society.Therefore,the research on the integration and practice of STEAM education and middle school biology teaching has important theoretical and practical value.The thesis adopts the main research methods includes literature research method and quasi-experimental research method.Based on constructivist learning theory,middle school theory,STEAM education theory and instructional design theory,according to the needs of students,first-line teachers and other personnel,secondary school biology academic curriculum standards,learner analysis,teaching resource integration,selection and application of teaching methods,development of teaching strategies,design of teaching process,design of teaching evaluation,design of the fusion mode of STEAM education and biology teaching in middle school,design for six cases,and teaching practice in Luohu Foreign Language School,through the data analysis,achieved satisfactory results.Five of the lesson cases were selected for the STEAM education lesson.The innovation of the thesis is the integration and practice of STEAM education and middle school biology teaching,innovation of biology teaching,and better implementation of the middle school biology curriculum standards.The integration strategy,process and evaluation of STEAM education and middle school biology teaching have shown advantages.Because the scope of the test is not wide enough,it is necessary to further increase the scope of testing and the scope of research,in order to further optimize the design,in order to provide other bio-teachers with reflections and reference,so as to improve and optimize the way of biology teaching in middle schools,enhance students' ability to explore cooperative learning,and innovate ability to apply biological science knowledge to solve problem problems.
