Research On The Application Of Group Work In Improving The Negative Emotions Of Nursing Staff In Nursing Homes

With the development of aging population in China,the way of providing for the aged has become diversified.Among them,institutional pension is gradually recognized by the elderly with its characteristics.In pension institutions,the quality of life of the elderly residents depends not only on the hardware input of the institution,but also on the “software” support of the institution.Among them,the service of nurses,as an important aspect of the “software” of the organization,plays an important role in guaranteeing the quality of life of the elderly.Therefore,in order to make the elderly in institutions live happily in their old age,we must pay attention to the special group of nursing staff in institutions for the aged,especially their negative emotional status,and release them slowly through scientific methods,so as to promote their mental health level,enhance their enthusiasm and quality of work,and then ensure the quality of life of the elderly in institutions.Guided by ABC theory,social support theory and group dynamics theory,this study studied the effect of group work on the improvement of negative emotions of nurses in L nursing home in Q city.Firstly,the positive and negative emotions scale,self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale were used to measure their psychological status.It was found that almost all of them had serious negative emotional problems.After that,the reasons for the negative emotions of nurses were analyzed by semi-structured interview.In order to alleviate the negative emotions of nurses,the workers set up a group to improve the emotions of “Happy Life”.After eight group activities,six group members were tested with relevant scales.The results showed that the negative emotions of the group members were significantly alleviated.Overall,group work has special advantages in the negative emotional release of institutional nurses,but it also has some shortcomings.In future practice,it is suggested to adopt some methods to make up for them,including the combination of various social work methods;the combination of multiple team leadership methods;innovative team work operation skills;linking various available resources and various types of group work.Equivalent matching.
