There is growing requirement of The New Curriculum Reform for schools.The development of school depends on the quality of teaching staffs and their teaching skills.Especially when a large number of teachers begin their work,it is crucial to train their professional development and skills.As a result,it has become the first priority of administrators of school to focus on the cultivation of teaching skills of new teachers and make them adapt to the needs of The New Curriculum Reform effectively.Based on the "three stages" theory of new teachers' professional development,which includes the early stage of survival concern,the stage of teaching situation concern,and the stage of students concern,we carry out the action research in stages and with emphasis to improve new teachers' teaching skills.It helps new teachers with different entry times improve their teaching skills effectively,emphatically in stages.According to the three elements of teaching skills,namely,teaching design ability,the implementing of classroom teaching ability and teaching reflective assessment ability,teachers at the early stage of survival concern should focus on improving teaching design skills,teachers at the stage of teaching situation concern should focus on improving classroom teaching skills,and teachers at the stage of paying attention to students focus on improving teaching reflection and evaluation skills.During the three stages of key training,new teachers are able to adapt to the needs of education effectively,and improve their teaching quality,promoting the development of schools positively.This research mainly adopts the action research method,supplemented by the investigation method and the literature research method.This paper expounds the essential connotation and characteristics of the "three stage" theory for the development of new teachers.Meanwhile,this paper makes investigation and research in the new teachers with different entry time to analyze and summarize the problems concerned,as well as the abilities they need to be improved,to acquire the most scientific and operational "threestage" action research scheme for improving the teaching skills of new teachers.Moreover,by three rounds of action research,the scheme is continuously revised to make it mature and perfect,to make it possible for some innovations in theoretical expansion,research perspective and research methods.
