A boarding school is bom at the right moment when the rural education resources are required to be optimized and integrated.It frees students from a long home-to-school walking and also reduce the burden of picking up kids in the family every working days.However,there comes a very serious problem.The younger a student is in a boarding school,the more challenges have to be faced on the development of his physical and mental health.This search is a study based on the services for the left-behind children in G school.It investigates the current situation of the interpersonal relations in these left-behind children and analyzes the possible causes.Each kids is interviewed to present his or her basic information,which is a condition of making the assessments and setting the plans for group work.With the guidelines of Social Group Working Theories and Methods,group members learn to help each other,share experiences with each other and become more positive.All the efforts are made for the target of promoting the balance of their cognitive system,the upgrading of their self-confidence and the comprehending of interpersonal skills.It is also helped for improving their relationships with family members,friends and teachers and developing the situation of their interpersonal relations.According to the practice of the group works,this search includes five parts.The first part is introduction,which sets forth its views on the search's background and significance,sorts documentation both at home and abroad on interpersonal relationships of rural primary school boarders and children,and prepares the framework for the study.The second part is a design for the group work.It introduces the background of the group work,the general information of the target school,the current interpersonal relations of these left-behind children and its reasons.The selection of the study objects and the assessment for them are followed.And it explains the design and the plan of the whole service as well.The following part puts its focus on the analysis of the process of the group work,the implementation of group work and the details of the activities.The part before the last is the evaluation of the development of the interpersonal relations.It evaluates from three points of views,the analysis of the target achievement,the result of the interactive in group work and development of the team members' interpersonal relations.The final part is the conclusion and discussion for the study.It summarizes the group works' influence on rural primary school boarders' interpersonal relations and provides some advice for the further upgrading.
