With the layout adjustment of school,the rural primary school boarding is common,the trend of low age is prominent.The boarding school life separated traditional family and school environment of low age children,the development needs of low age boarders,especially the development needs of interpersonal interaction ability are difficult to meet.How to promote their interpersonal interaction ability,and meet the needs of interpersonal communication,those are a question needing urgent attention for low age boarders in the process of growth and development.The study will be the grade 2 to grade 3 of low age boarders in S Primary School as the research object.By participatory observation and interview,there are many common problems in interpersonal interaction among low age boarders,and their needs of interpersonal interaction are difficult to meet.Specific performances: poor expression ability;lack of interpersonal skills;being lonely and anxious emotions;failure to properly handle peer contradictions.In order to promote the interpersonal interaction ability of the low age boarders,according to the data of pervious investigation,starting with the interpersonal interaction needs of low age boarders,adopting the group work method,This study takes the interpersonal communication group in S Primary School as an example,selecting 6 low age boarders as the objects of social work intervention.According to the early,middle and late stages of the group,to design group activities about language and non-language skills,communicative behavior,emotional control,interpersonal questions solving.Process assessment runs through group activities,according to the process assessment,the group activities need be adjusted.And the end of the group,to assess the target behavior of the group members and the effect of group intervention.The conclusions are as follows by analysis and summary: It is necessary that social work intervene interpersonal interaction ability of low age boarders,and the group work intervention is effective,group work has demonstration effect and promotion value in improving interpersonal interaction ability.Through the intervention of group work,the interpersonal interaction behavior of group members has varying degrees of changes,and their interpersonal interaction ability has been promoted.But in the process of the intervention of group work on promoting the interpersonal interaction ability among low age boarders has some problems,in the early stage of group preparation,there are difficulties in communicating with schools,social workers are lack of communication and practical experience in the process of intervention.The process of group work is difficulties in establishing professional relationships and professional recognition,professional reflections should be made on this.Social workers should be clear about their role positioning,must grasp the individual differences of the group members and balance the group dynamics.In view of this,this paper puts forward suggestions of perfecting social work intervene interpersonal communication ability of low age boarders,in the process of group work,we need to combine other methods and power,and social workers need to constantly accumulate practical experience,and to further promote the study on the related practice of low age boarders.
