With the development of new curriculum reform and the innovation of educational concept,the means and methods of history teaching are becoming more and more diversified.The 2017 edition of The History Curriculum Standard in General Senior Middle Schools clearly proposes to optimize the teaching content,take the theme as the guide,contextualize the course content,and actively implement the requirements of core literacy.Although the new curriculum standards are still in the pilot stage,it is an inevitable trend to change teaching methods to adapt to the new reform.Thematic teaching,as an important teaching mode,emphasizes that teaching is carried out around distinct themes,which not only helps to integrate teaching contents and improve students' learning efficiency,but also helps to cultivate core qualities.In daily high school history teaching,review class as an important course type often has the characteristics of large knowledge and difficulty in integration,long time span and high ability requirements.Coupled with the continuous improvement of the requirements of the review class in recent years,how to improve the review class has become a difficult problem for front-line teachers.Applying thematic teaching to history review class will not only help improve the effectiveness of review teaching and achieve teaching objectives,but also better meet the needs of the development of history education in the new era.This paper explores the implementation of thematic teaching with high school history review as the carrier.First of all,from the perspective of the value analysis of the implementation of thematic teaching,the development of thematic teaching not only helps to improve the effectiveness of review teaching,but also meets the needs of curriculum reform and the reform of high exam questions.Secondly,from the analysis of thematic teaching implementation strategy,the establishment of classroom themes,the integration of thematic resources and the development of thematic inquiry activities are all important steps to promote thematic teaching.Finally,This paper combines with the thematic teaching implementation case analysis to present the whole process of the implementation of thematic teaching in the second round of review,and analyze and summarize the implementation situation,combined with the core literacy evaluation scale,through questionnaires and interviews,from the perspective of teachers and students to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of thematic teaching,in order to continuously improve in the future teaching process.
