Physics course in secondary vocational school is a course offered according to the characteristics of secondary vocational students. It is a basic course for students to learn professional courses well.It has strong practicability. However, some students have problems in learning strategies in the process of learning, and the learning effect is not good. Thus, they show a certain degree of learning-weariness,which directly affects their interest in learning physics, making it difficult for them to get a sense of achievement in physics learning. How to improve students'leaming strategies, improve their academic performance and enhance their confidence in learning physics through teaching strategies intervention is the focus of this study.Physical problem solving refers to the process of solving problems by applying various cognitive activities, skills and so on,which is caused by certain physical situations and according to certain requirements, through a series of thinking operations. In this process,it is not only to solve a problem,or even a certain kind of problem, but also to improve their cognitive structure and develop their problem-solving ability through the process of solving the problem.Physical problem solving strategies are inclined to use which strategies to solve physical problems. Its purpose is to choose which strategies to improve students'ability to solve physical problems and their cognitive ability. Some scholars at home and abroad have put forward different methods and strategies for different physical problems, which have been widely recognized, and problem solving strategies have gradually diversified. However, for secondary vocational students, many related problem-solving strategies and methods can not reflect their due value and play a substantive role, because many secondary vocational students have poor grasp of basic knowledge, poor acceptance, poor comprehension, and lack the habit of reflection and summary.Based on this background, this study combines quantitative and qualitative analysis to explore the impact of problem-solving strategy intervention on the physical problem-solving ability of secondary vocational schools. In this study,259 students of electrical engineering and electronics related specialty in the first grade of a vocational education center in Bengbu City were selected as the research objects, and the effects of problem solving strategies on students'physical problem solving were discussed. In this study, three strategies of problem solving, namely, attempt strategy, negation of relevant conditions strategy and backstepping strategy, are discussed respectively. In study 2,six representative cases were selected.Through the analysis of test materials, students'homework and interviews, the influence and mechanism of problem-solving strategy intervention on their problem-solving strategies were explored. The study found that:1.Attempt strategy, negative conditional strategy and backstepping strategy have obvious promoting effects on the improvement of vocational school students'academic performance.2.Attempt strategy,negation-related condition strategy and backstepping strategy all have effects on the academic performance of different types of students, but the extent of improvement is different. After the intervention,it was found that the improvement of low-achievers was greater than that of high-achievers(p<0.05),but the improvement of high-achievers was not significant(p>0.05).3.Attempt strategy, negative conditional strategy and backstepping strategy have different effects on students'performance because of gender differences.Attempt strategies and negative conditional strategies had a greater impact on gender differences(p<0.05),while backward strategies had a relatively small impact on gender differences(p>0.05).4.In case studies, the effects of strategy intervention on low-achievers,middle-achievers and high-achievers are different. The changes of learning strategies of middle-achievers are more obvious, followed by low-achievers and finally high-achievers.
