Literacy teaching is an important teaching content in compulsory education and the initial stage of students’ systematic learning of Chinese.Literacy and independent literacy are the important guarantee for students to carry out reading and writing.Dongxiang is one of the unique ethnic minorities in Gansu region.The main communication language in Dongxiang County is Dongxiang language.Dongxiang people have unique feelings for Dongxiang language in social language selection and family language use.The single language environment and poor teachers’ resources in Dongxiang County have caused great difficulties for students to learn Chinese,especially for the junior students in Dongxiang area,the first and second grade is the enlightenment stage of Chinese learning,but Literacy is the foundation and beginning of learning Chinese.Good language learning environment,proper literacy teaching methods and the cultivation of students’ autonomous literacy ability are very important to the Chinese literacy learning of the students in the lower grade of Dongxiang primary school.This study takes the east township autonomous county lock south town racetrack primary school as an example,the author in the literature review,collection of data and on-site investigation on the basis of in-depth classroom,with students,teachers to make a preliminary understanding of the current situation and difficulties of literacy teaching,mainly from five aspects from shallow to deep research.Firstly,the research reason and significance,research review,research object,research content and research methods are introduced.Secondly,the present situation of Chinese literacy teaching in the lower grade of Dongxiang primary school is investigated and analyzed,and the background,teaching materials and teaching methods of Chinese literacy teaching in Dongxiang are briefly analyzed,and the basic information of teachers and students is sorted out.This paper discusses the influence of teacher’s specialty,nationality,education and teacher’s literacy teaching on literacy teaching,and makes a survey and analysis on students’ basic information and Chinese literacy learning.Finally,the problems existing in the teaching process of Chinese literacy in the lower grade of Dongxiang primary school are combed,and the regional language environment,school teaching materials,teachers’teaching methods,students’ interest in literacy and so on are analyzed.The excellent experience in the teaching of Chinese literacy in the lower grade of Dongxiang primary school should be used for reference and inherited,but the existing problems should be summed up and reflected in time.The investigation found that teachers have a heavy burden of homework,insufficient number of teachers and lack of qualified bilingual teachers and professional mismatch still exist.Teachers can not devote themselves to the work of education and teaching,the sense of achievement is not strong,the teaching method of literacy is single and so on.But there are still many local teachers willing to take root in the barren land and contribute their own strength to the local education cause,this spirit of selfless dedication is worthy of learning and praise.Therefore,the author puts forward practical and effective strategies and suggestions from four specific aspects:management department,school,teacher teaching and student learning,so as to provide some theoretical reference for the development of Chinese literacy teaching for first-line teachers in Dongxiang area.
