In 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the Mathematics Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 edition).According to the basic concepts and requirements stipulated in the curriculum standards,the National Primary and Secondary School Textbook Review Committee approved the general senior high school mathematics textbooks(2019 edition)in May 2019.The publication of the new textbook marks the implementation of a new round of high school mathematics curriculum reform.As an important content of high school mathematics textbooks,trigonometric functions are closely related to vectors,complex numbers and coordinates.They are the theoretical basis of solid geometry and analytic geometry,and the research is representative.Due to the short release time of the new high school mathematics textbook,which has just been put into use,so the research is urgent.In this background,this article makes a comparative study of the trigonometric functions in the new and old editions of the highschool mathematics textbooks of the People's Education Press.Based on the perspective of comparative analysis of textbooks,this study selects the trigonometric functions of the edition of People's 1990 edition,the edition of People's 2000 edition,the edition of People's 2007 A edition and the edition of People's 2019 A edition as research objects,using the literature research method and comparative analysis,coding research and statistical analysis method designed statistical tables of material selection,frame structure,knowledge point selection,knowledge point arrangement,number of exercises and types of exercises.Using the curriculum difficulty model proposed by Professor Shi Ningzhong and the comprehensive difficulty model of mathematical problems proposed by Professor Bao Jiansheng,the statistical table of course difficulty and exercise difficulty is established and the research is conducted from the three dimensions of system structure,course content and exercise setting.The study has found that:(1)From the perspective of comparison,the compilation of trigonometric functions in four sets of textbooks has gradually changed.Specifically,the text structure is gradually enriched from the initial single narrative to five columns: “ narration ”,“ thinking ”,“ inquiry ”,“ observation ” and “ induction ”,which focuse on guided teaching;the difficulty of the course is gradually increased,and students experience the process of knowledge generation and development,and pay attention to inquiry-based learning;exercise setting gradually focus on the foundation,level,difficulty and close integration with the college entrance examination and focus on the overall development of students.(2)From the perspective of development,the writing of the trigonometric functions of 2019 A edition is quite distinctive.Specifically,the content of the trigonometric function and its internal correlation with other functions have been fully considered,the content structure has been adjusted and the integrity of the knowledge has been emphasized;the innovative spirit of cultivating students' courage to explore has been designed.Open inquiry questions increase the openness and exploratory nature of the exercises;strengthen the use of information technology,and makes the mathematical content dynamic and visualized.According to the conclusion of the study,some suggestions were put forward mainly from the aspects of textbook compilation and teacher teaching.
