Textbooks provide basic clues to the students’ learning activities, it is the important carrier of the curriculum goal.On the basis of the others research results, this article absorbs the basic idea of the compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(2011).This article uses literature analysis, content analysis, comparative study and interviews,it comparative study “algebra and number” in mathematics textbooks of junior high school,it published by the PEP and Hunan Education Edition.This article is divided into five parts:The first part of article includs the question of the necessity and the method and the content of the research, the research methods mainly includes comparative study method and literature method.The second part is literature review, this paper summarizes the domestic and foreign about the problems of the existing research results and the relevant dynamic;The third part is research process and methods, including research methods including comparative study method and literature method;The forth part is the main part of the paper, the specific data analysis is used to illustrate what similarities and differences between two versions of textbooks, from the following several aspects: content, examples and exercises, illustration, the application of the history of mathematics, the application of modern education technology, and mathematics and other subjects crossover of this a few aspects to discuss, on the advantages and disadvantages of these two material are made more explicit;The fifth part is the summary of this article, discussed the place of the merits of the two versions of textbooks as well as the characteristic, thus improvement of teaching and practice of teacher education work puts forward proper Suggestions, mainly have 3 points:1、teacher should creative use of textbooks. Reasonable and scientific creative use of teaching materials only can make up for the lack of teaching materials on writing, give full play to the advantages of teaching materials;2、Junior middle school students psychological development is not perfect, some teachers still adopt force-feeding teaching way, this causes students to produce rebellious attitude for knowledge, affect learning effect;3、pay attention to the cultivation of the students mathematical thinking methods.
