Textbooks are the key to the success of curriculum reform,and also one of the important symbols of the development level of basic education in a region or a country.By comparing textbooks,we can highlight the characteristics and shortcomings of different versions of textbooks,which can draw on each other's merits and raise the level together in teaching,provide reliable basis for revision of textbooks,and deepen the understanding of textbook compilers,teachers and students on curriculum reform.Geometry curriculum is the focus and controversy of the reform in every period of the development of mathematics.The reform of graphics and geometry is controversial in the four areas of curriculum reform in China.Therefore,guided by the "Curriculum Standard(2011)",this paper studies the field of "Graphics and Geometry" in the junior high school mathematics textbooks published by the People Education Press and the Hunan Education Press,and compares and analyses the similarities and differences between the two versions in the aspects of chapter arrangement,system structure,geometric transformation,experimental geometry and proving geometry.Finally,some reasonable suggestions are put forward,in order to better play the role of textbooks,and study and use the two versions of textbooks scientifically and rationally.By using the methods of documentation,comparative study,content analysis and interview,this paper draws the following conclusions:1.Chapter arrangement: Under the guidance of the "Curriculum Standard(2011)",the contents of graphics and geometry are basically the same,but the division and titles of chapters are different.The number of chapters in the People Education Edition is more than that in the Hunan Educational Edition,but the listing of the chapters in the Hunan Education Edition is more detailed,and the order of chapters is also quite different.2.Architecture: The main body design of chapter structure and section structure of the two versions has little difference,but each has its own characteristics.The People Education Edition lays stress on rigorous inductive reasoning,while the Hunan Education Edition lays stress on the process of exploring guesses.3.The compilation of geometric transformation: Hunan Education Edition focuses on the tool of geometric transformation,while People Education Edition focuses on the transformation of knowledge itself.4.Compilation of experimental geometry and proving geometry: People Education Editon introduced proving geometry with standard format earlier,while Hunan Education Edition had a longer transition time.5.Combining with teacher' interviews,this paper compares and analyses the different impacts of the two versions of textbooks on teaching.Moreover,this paper takes the isosceles triangle in the two versions as an example to make a concrete analysis,and finally puts forward some teaching suggestions.
