Novel reading teaching is one of the key points of high school Chinese teaching as well as novel itself rule has being repeatedly stated in the Chinese Curriculum Standards."Reading is a process of multiple dialogues between teachers,students,texts,and textbook editors".That is to say,the teaching and learning of reading involves a complex dialogue process.The plot nature of the novel itself also provides a possibility for dialogue teaching in novel reading teaching.At the high school stage,students 'dialectical thinking and creative thinking begin to develop,and they can look at things from different angles.At this time,whether teachers can allow students to participate in classroom teaching directly affects students' thinking development.In this dissertation,the theory of dialogue,as a theoretical basis,is used to research high school Chinese novel reading teaching and dialogue teaching.The current status of high school Chinese novel reading teaching and dialogue teaching are investigated by questionnaires.In this study,the mainly reasons are discovered as following:on the one hand,teachers rely on teaching reference books for preparing lessons;on the other hand,the status between teachers and students has not achieved equality,and the setting of classroom activities cannot arouse enough interest of students.In view of the above problems,when conducting novel reading teaching in high school,teachers should have full dialogue with the text as readers and educators.When setting up classroom activities,teachers must pay attention to students' points of interest and recent development areas.At the same time,teachers must pay attention to the guidance of students,and put the text in the main place.Four parts are included in this article.In the first part,first,the theoretical basis of dialogue teaching—the theory of dialogue is summarized.The stylistic features of novels and the common modes of novel teaching be sort out in this part.The novel itself contains three elements:characters,environment,and storyline,and novel teaching must also surround these three elements.But the fixed teaching mode is likely to make students feel tired.Therefore,the concept of dialogue teaching can be introduced into novel teaching to enrich novel teaching methods,activate classroom atmosphere,and improve teaching results.Second,the research situation of dialogue teaching and novel reading teaching at home and abroad are summarized,The following main concepts are defined:reading teaching,dialogue teaching and reading dialogue teaching.The significance of this study,the research purposes,the research framework,the research objects and research methods are included in the second part.In the third part,the current status of novel reading and dialogue teaching are investigated through questionnaires on the basis of distinguishing between the two key concepts of reading teaching and dialogue teaching.The problems and reasons in novel reading and dialogue teaching are analyzed from two main aspects:reading dialogue and teaching dialogue.In the reading dialogue,there are many problems such as insufficient of teacher-text dialogues and students-text dialogues.Teaching dialogues reflect the state of novel reading teaching.There are many problems in the fiction classrooms,such as teachers lack guidance for students,and students' feedback to teachers should be improved,and the dialogue between students are not enough,etc.In the last chapter,"Lin Daiyu's entry into Jiafu" is used as an example to put forward suggestions for improving the teaching of novel reading and dialogue,including teachers must be fully prepared before class,teachers must arrange appropriate preparatory tasks,and other opinions on classroom teaching.Finally,the novel reading and dialogue teaching attentions are put forward.The occurrence of dialogue should be centered on text.Therefore,teachers should reasonably preset the content of the classroom dialogues.
