At present,the aging of the population has become an urgent problem in China,and the country is paying more and more attention to the development of the aging industry.The world has put forward a policy of active aging in response to the aging of the population.China has also proposed "having a sense of old age" as the development goal of China's aging cause.When people enter the old age,the main problem is not adapting to the social life of the elderly.Self-directed learning of the elderly as a way of "having a sense of old age" is one of the effective ways to solve the problem of social incompatibility.Based on this,this study is based on the empirical study of the elderly university students to explore the impact of self-directed learning on social adaptation,and proposes to promote self-directed learning.Based on the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly,active aging theory,activity theory,and interaction theory,this study explores the status quo and characteristics of self-directed learning in the elderly,the status quo and characteristics of the social adaptation of the elderly,and the self-directed learning of the elderly.The impact characteristics.The questionnaires and interview outlines of this study were determined in combination with the six steps of the self-directed learning,social adaptation questionnaires and the self-directed learning process proposed by Knowles.It is finally determined that self-directed learning can be decomposed into four dimensions:self-directed learning attitude,self-directed learning process,self-directed learning strategy,and self-directed learning evaluation.Social adaptation can be decomposed into interpersonal relationship adaptation,role transformation adaptation,life self-care adaptation,and social transformation.Adapt to four dimensions.This study is based on the questionnaire method,supplemented by the interview method.Through the investigation of the old university students,the status quo and characteristics of self-directed learning from the elderly,the status quo and characteristics of the elderly's social adaptation,and the influence of the self-directed learning of the elderly on social adaptation.Analysis of three aspects,the following research conclusions are drawn:First,the status quo and characteristics of self-directed learning in the elderly include:the self-directed learning of the elderly is at the upper-middle level;the self-directed learning of the elderly has significant differences in gender distribution,and the female self-directed learning is generally higher than the male self-directed learning.Self-directed learning in the elderly has significant differences in age distribution,and the self-directed learning of the elderly aged 60-69 is the highest;the self-directed learning of the elderly has differences in the distribution of education,and the education level is junior high school and below.Older self-directed learning is the worst;older self-directed learning is significantly associated with physical and psychological conditions.Second,the status quo and characteristics of the social adaptation of the elderly include:the social adaptation of the elderly is at the upper-middle level;the interpersonal relationship adaptation,self-care adaptation and social adjustment of the elderly are different in gender distribution,and women are higher than men;There are differences in the age distribution of interpersonal relationship adaptation,role transformation adaptation,life self-adaptation adaptation and social adaptation;the social adaptation of the elderly has differences in the distribution of education,and the social adaptation of the junior high school is the worst;The social adaptation dimension of the elderly is significantly related to physical and psychological conditions.Thirdly,the characteristics of self-directed learning of the elderly on social adaptation include:there is a significant correlation between self-directed learning and social adaptation in the elderly,self-directed learning in the elderly has a positive predictive effect on social adaptation,and self-directed learning strategies for the elderly Social adaptation has the greatest impact.Finally,this study compares the above three conclusions with the existing research conclusions and analyzes the possible reasons.Through the analysis and discussion of the research conclusions,the author proposes ways to improve the self-directed learning of the elderly:establish a positive self-directed learning attitude;construct an independent self-directed learning process;apply a variety of self-directed learning strategies;and evaluate comprehensive self-directed learning outcomes.
