Jumping capacity plays a crucial role in the modern basketball game, and to a great extent determines a basketball player's ability of confrontation and competitive level.CrossFit is a new mixed training program in recent years, which has been applied in many training programs, with obvious effects on athletes' fast strength and explosive power. But at present, there are few empirical studies on CrossFit training in junior high school basketball players. Therefore, how to use CrossFit training to improve the jumping capacity of basketball players is the focus of this study.Based on the characteristics of specialized jumping capacity training in basketball, this paper explores the empirical effect of CrossFit training on the jumping capacity of junior high school male basketball players,in order to provide more training references for them to improve their jumping capacity. This study adopted the experimental method and mathematical statistics method to test the male basketball players aged from 13 to 15 years in the Boya Basketball Training Camp,Laiwu District,Jinan City, which lasted eight weeks. The participants were randomly divided into an experimental group(CrossFit training)and a control group(conventional training). The two groups were tested before and after the experiment in five test items: the high jump performance of both feet in situ(cm),the high jump performance of two-legged take-off with run-up(cm),the high jump performance of one-foot take-off with run-up(cm),the standing long jump performance(cm)and the maximum load weight of half squat(Kg).The following conclusions were drawn from the experiment:(1)There was a significant difference between the experimental group before and after the experiment in the high scores of two-legged take-off touch(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the control group(P>0.05).After the experiment, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the high score of in-situ two-legged take-off(P<0.05),and the range of improvement of the experimental group(change rate 1%)was higher than that of the control group(change rate 0.4%).(2)Before and after the experiment, the experimental group had significant differences in the scores of the two-legged take-off with run-up,the one-foot take-off with run-up,the standing long jump and the maximum load weight of half squat(P<0.01).(3)In the control group, before and after the experiment, there were also significant differences in the scores of the two-legged take-off with run-up,the one-foot take-off with run-up,the standing long jump and the maximum load weight of the half squat(P<0.01).(4)After the experiment, there was no obvious difference between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05)in the scores of the two-legged take-off with run-up and the standing long jump, indicating that the experimental group was similar to the control group in the range of the improvement of the scores of the above two items.(5)After the experiment, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05)in the scores of one-foot take-off with run-up and the maximum load weight of half squat, which indicated that the experimental group was higher than the control group in the range of the increase of these two items.Based on the analysis of the results, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)After eight weeks of training,CrossFit training can obviously improve the ability of the athletes to take off their feet in situ, but conventional training can not obviously improve this ability, indicating that CrossFit training is more suitable for improving the ability of the athletes to take off their feet in situ.(2)After eight weeks of training,CrossFit training and conventional training can obviously improve the athletes' ability of the two-legged take-off with run-up and the standing long jump, and the two training effects are similar, indicating that CrossFit training and conventional training are applicable in improving the athletes' ability of the two-legged take-off with run-up and the standing long jump.(3)After eight weeks of training, both CrossFit training and conventional training can obviously improve the athletes' ability of one-foot take-off with run-up and the maximum load weight of half squat. From the range of the improvement, the CrossFit training(rate of change 2.5%)is higher than the conventional training(rate of change 1.1%),which indicates that CrossFit training is more suitable for improving the athletes' ability of one-foot take-off with run-up and the maximum load weight of half squat.
