Chinese character culture has a long history.As a language symbol system,it plays a vital role in People's Daily communication and written expression.It is the Chinese character that is so important that it lays the educational foundation in the stage of compulsory education.But the ultimate goal of literacy is not literacy,but a series of applications based on reading.Teachers can only teach students to learn.Nevertheless,the formation of learning ability is a long-term process.therefore,it is self-evident that the formation of self-learning ability of students is of great importance on their lifelong development.Suiwen literacy is a kind of specific language environment literacy of literacy teaching methods,the context literacy adheres to the 'words from phrases,phrases from sentences,sentences from articles' principle.since suiwen literacy is brought up,it has been widely used in classroom teaching,rarely extended to extra-curricular reading,based on which,this thesis mainly explores the application of suiwen literacy in extra-curricular reading from theoretical level and practical level.There are six parts in this paper.The first part mainly discusses the application of suiwen literacy in elementary school.It includes the reason for the topic,the origin and development of suiwen literary,the relationship between suiwen literacy and reading,the concept of suiwen literacy and extra curricular reading.On this basis,it analyzes the theoretical basis and value of suiwen literacy.And the research design of this study is briefly described.The second part is to make a specific description of the suiwen literacy,including the connotation of suiwen literacy,the principles of suiwen literacy teaching,and the main steps and effectiveness analysis of suiwen literacy in classroom teaching.The third part mainly analyzes the status quo of the application of suiwen literacy in extra-curricular reading in primary schools.It is found that suiwen literacy,as a teaching method of literacy,is still widely used in classroom teaching.Nonetheless few teachers use this method to guide students in extra-curricular reading.The fourth part is mainly to explore how to apply suiwen literacy to extra-curricular reading in the lower part of primary school and how to better combine suiwen literacy and reading.At the same time,the following teaching strategies are proposed according to the research status.With the help of pinyin,read the word precisely.Use illustrations to understand the meaning of words.Combine the context to understand the meaning of the word.Demonstration of suiwen reading with text.Implemente the suiwen literacy evaluation.The fifth part is theoretical analysis combined with teaching cases and evaluation results,based on the above teaching strategies for empirical analysis,through comparative experiments.The last part is some reflections and inspirations after investigation and research.
