Nowadays,global technology is developing rapidly.The number of high-quality talents has become an important index to highlight the strength of the country's comprehensive strength.The STEM education proposed by the United States in the 1990 s to train comprehensive and high-quality talents and improve the national competitiveness has integrated four scientific disciplines: Science,Technology,Engineering and Mathematics,and has developed into the current research hotspot in the field of education in the world.STEM education takes "cultivating ability" as the core,and develops students' engineering thinking through creating environment and problem-solving ability,improving STEM literacy to achieve the purpose of cultivating innovative talents.Since the new curriculum reform,the field of education in our country attaches importance to the improvement of students' innovative ability and comprehensive quality,in order to cultivate high-quality talents adapted to the development of society,STEM the emergence of education conforms to this demand.At present,the development of STEM education in China has initially entered the stage of integrating practical teaching.How to combine STEM education with specific subjects,how to construct educational design ideas to guide teaching practice,and how to conduct teaching practice based on teaching evaluation methods have gradually become the focus of scholars' research.To this end,this study carried out a chemistry teaching design integrating STEM education,and used literature visualization to show the research direction and hot spots of STEM education in China.Starting from grade 9 chemistry of Shandong education press,firstly,through the analysis of the teaching material,two adjacent sections are selected as the design case.Based on the 5E teaching model,the design idea of chemistry teaching integrating STEM education was constructed.Then,based on the teaching design ideas,the teaching cases are integrated with STEM education concepts and applied to teaching practice.Finally,through classroom observation and interviews with teachers and students,the author evaluates the design of chemistry teaching that integrates STEM educational concepts.The results show that the design idea of chemistry teaching combining STEM education is suitable for junior high school chemistry teaching.It has a remarkable effect on improving students' learning interest and teamwork ability.To some extent,it promotes the development of students' creative ability and the engineering thinking of applying multi-discipline to solve problems.
