STEM education is a integrated education of science,technology,engineering,mathe matics and other disciplines.It has the basic characteristics of situation,practice,interdisci plinary,collaboration,and design.This article uses the STEM interdisciplinary project desi gn model to carry out teaching design and case study on the theme of "chemical reactio n and energy conversion" in high school.It aims to provide a new perspective for the in tegration of STEM education concepts into high school chemistry teaching practice.This article mainly includes the following five parts:The first part is the introduction of this article,including the background of the topi c selection,the research content,the research method and defines the keywords.The second part combing the STEM of the origin and development of education,S TEM education of pluralistic understanding,STEM education characteristics and STEM e ducation teaching mode,and analyzes the existing heat in "chemical reaction" teaching de sign model of advantages and disadvantages,selects the "STEM interdisciplinary project d esign model" proposed by Chinese scholar Professor Yu Shengquan as the theoretical fra meworkThe third part of the high school "chemistry reaction and energy conversion" theme of systematic teaching design,including teaching materials,teaching objectives,learner ch aracteristics,designed learning tasks,teaching tools and resources,learning scaffolds,learn ing activities and Learning evaluation methods.The fourth part shows the case of teaching design,specific implementation process a nd implementation effect of "Chemical Reaction and Energy Conversion".The implement ation effect data was collected mainly by means of student self-evaluation and mutual ev aluation,teacher evaluation and student interviews.Quantitative and qualitative analysis w as carried out on these data,and the problems in the research were reflected accordingly.The fifth part summarizes the research conclusion of this article.Under the guidance of the STEM interdisciplinary project design model,the teaching design of "Chemical R eaction and Energy Conversion" has achieved good teaching results,which can provide a reference for the integration of STEM education concepts into middle school classrooms and provide a new perspective for high school chemistry teaching design.
