Teachers' professional growth cannot be separated from reading,and reading should become a way of life for teachers.On the basis of previous research,this article combs the relevant literature on teacher reading and teacher professional development.Through the investigation and analysis of some high school political teachers in Qingdao,the impact of teacher reading on teacher professional growth is discussed,and related improvement strategies are proposed.The problems of high school political teachers in reading mainly include: the quality of reading content is low and the reading is utilitarian;the reading path is relatively simple;the planning of reading is low,and the reading habits are not good;overburdened work and lack of reading and communication platforms.Teacher reading has a major impact on the professional growth of high school political teachers.Teacher reading can enhance teachers 'moral ethics and professional beliefs;strengthen the advanced nature of political education;improve teachers' professional knowledge reserves;enhance the ability to develop and enrich curriculum resources,classroom organization and management,and strengthen teaching research and teaching reflection In order to further explore the impact of teacher reading on teacher professional growth and improve teacher reading efficiency,this article bases on in-depth interviews with teachers,using key readings as an entry point for teacher reading research,selecting three representative teachers' reading experience to analyze,which provides new reading ideas for other teachers.This article proposes the following suggestions for teachers' reading problems:teachers should plan reading time and reading volume reasonably,set reading contents scientifically,strengthen the reading of key readings and enrich reading channels;schools and education authorities should improve teachers' reading communication platform,reduce teachers' workload and establish reading incentives.
