Education changes with our country's requirement and different students,teacher's career is full of challenges.<The unified standard for primary teacher>emphasizes that teachers should consist in "entire life study".Reading is a essential approach for teacher's career development and it's quite valuable,it's because reading is an initial part of the whole education system.But in fact,teachers are rarely read in their career time.They do not spend enough time on reading.We need to keen on finding out more effective ways to encourage,or even spur our teachers to read.My research is built on my 3 years headmastership in Shaxi Yunhan Primary school.I did my research after reading some literature,I've made an analyze report of our current teachers' reading situation.I pointed out the problems of reading persist and demonstrate the advisement of dealing with the problems.I think these ideas may help our school get an upper class.There are three main parts in the research.The first part is about my research instruction.I elaborate my research aims and research evidence in this part after analyze the global teaching needs.I decided doing my research with action research method.The second part of my research includes current teacher's reading situation analyzes.According to the feedback of the two surveys for teachers,I found that our teachers reading improvement project got a big progress.Teachers read more and wider than before,many of them love reading a lot.But at the same time,I found some new problems in their reading.Such as some didn't read with a clear purpose,reading abilities needed to get improved and spend not enough time in reading.I sum up and analyze my measures and the problems I found during the 3 years research in the third part.I set up a reading saloon and divide the teachers in several reading groups.The saloon is a great platform for teachers make some interactive reading.I take the responses of managing the saloon,in purpose of improve the teacher's reading atmosphere.I get a lot of experience in managing the reading saloon.I sum up 5 points:1.Group leaders should create comfortable reading atmosphere.2.Different teachers have different needs,activate reading awareness.3.Focus on reading guiding,suitable reading atmosphere consist of it.4.Encourage teachers read more and write more,gain more from reading.5.Encourage teachers to use the knowledge they learnt from reading,what make their teaching better and batter.
