| Mind map is a simple and efficient practical thinking tool.The mind map takes good use of the combination of graphics and texts to show the relationships between topics in different levels by using hierarchical maps.Meanwhile,it inspires the functions of left and right brains and evokes the potential functions of human brains by obeying the rules of personal memory and mind.Writing assignment is a way of presenting students’ mind,however,students’ logical thinking is developing in primary school.Therefore,they will reveal some shortages during the process of doing the writing tasks,like writing cannot follow topics closely,unclear logical mind,discussing the stressed contents too general,etc.To apply the mind map to writing teaching,it can help students expressing their writing minds through hierarchical diagrams,and students’ minds could be visualized.Additionally,using mind map as radioactive thinking way,students’ difficulties in writing assignments would be solved.The present thesis has been divided six parts to state the strategies of mind map applied to writing assignments teaching process in primary school.Firstly,the previous related literature have been reviewed systematically,and the related researches status and depths have been analyzed.Secondly,by distributing questionnaires to students and interviewing teachers,the data about the current situations of writing teaching in Grade five has been collected,and the targeted analysis have been conducted to summarize the problems showed in teachers’ teaching process and students’ learning process.Thirdly,to provide targeted strategies combining mind map deal with the problems,using concept of classification of mind map to clear topics;constructing article contents through the structure of "transition from beginning to end";using the frame chart of mind map detail description to improve students’ awareness of detail description;improving students’ consciousness of work evaluation and reducing the frequency of errors in the process of students’ work evaluation by applying the frame chart of mind map evaluation.Fourthly,applying the provided strategies to the writing teaching process conducts the action research,and the researcher observes,analyzes,summarizes,self-reflect and adjust the procedure of writing teaching constantly.Fifthly,collecting and analyzing the data produced in the above research provides teachers and students with the combined teaching strategies of mind map and writing teaching so that teachers’ teaching performances have been improved,and students can grasp topics exactly,clarify the writing mind,improve the ability and awareness of detailed descriptions and assessment of articles.Lastly,the present researcher has concluded the research and done the reflection of shortages,and expects the depth research to be conducted in this direction. |
