| In China’s long-term urban-rural dual system,the number of left behind children is increasing.In addition to the living status and physical and mental state of left behind children,the serious lack of communication and communication between them and their parents is also a growing concern.As one of the important ways to maintain and develop parent-child relationship,parent-child communication is particularly important for left behind children.During the summer vacation of 2019,this paper takes the students of a primary school in a village in Hubei Province as the research sample.First of all,through the questionnaire method,using Professor Chi Liping’s parent-child communication scale,it analyzes the parent-child communication quality of 103 middle and senior left behind children in the school from a comprehensive perspective of children.Then,combined with individual and group interviews of left behind children and their parents and teachers,it analyzes the left behind children’s communication quality Children’s natural observation,more in-depth understanding of the school left behind children’s parent-child communication problems and their influencing factors,and finally try to improve the quality of left behind children’s parent-child communication from the perspective of pedagogy and psychology.Through the questionnaire and interview,we can draw the following conclusions: at present,the overall situation of parent-child communication quality of left behind children is not optimistic,mainly reflected in:(1)the parents and children of left behind children in rural areas are not good at listening;(2)there are significant differences in relationship and problem orientation;(3)the parent-child communication system of left behind children is unbalanced;(4)the parents and children of left behind children There are different roles in parent-child communication.However,nearly one third of the left behind children still have better parent-child communication performance.Through the participatory observation of the left behind children,it is found that the left behind children in the village are eager to have in-depth communication with their parents,and the parents of the left behindchildren also have strong motivation for the construction of close parent-child relationship in the family.In view of the above findings,this paper explores the main factors that affect the quality of parent-child communication:(1)parents’ communication ability limits the quality of parent-child communication;(2)traditional family division of labor model and gender role awareness create the quality direction of parent-child communication;(3)family system coordination affects the quality development of parent-child communication;(4)rural environment limits the improvement of parent-child communication quality(5)left behind children’s emotional needs cannot be met.Finally,based on the three-level model of parent-child communication,the theory of communication action and the theory of family system therapy,this paper puts forward some suggestions and Countermeasures to improve the quality of parent-child communication of left behind children from three aspects: improving communication frequency and communication time,improving listening ability,balancing the direction of parent-child communication and parent-child communication system,and giving multi support to parent-child communication society,school and community. |
