With the rapid development of information technology in the 21 st century,the development level of global education is also improving.In order to keep up with the development level of global education,China began to carry out curriculum reform at the beginning of this century,that is,students are required to have good language literacy.Therefore,it is more and more important to improve students' Chinese literacy and reading ability,and find effective teaching methods.In Chinese learning,reading teaching plays an irreplaceable role in both language learning and language application.It can be said that reading teaching has always occupied half of Chinese teaching.Based on the theory of positive psychology,this paper combines psychology and pedagogy in depth,explores whether the peer praise can promote the improvement of students' Chinese reading ability,and proposes specific training measures.The experimental method was adopted in this paper to test the reading ability of a total of 79 students in two third-grade parallel classes.The students were tested before and after the experiment to show whether their reading ability had changed due to peer praise.The following conclusions are drawn from this experimental study: 1.Through the method of peer praise,the reading ability of the students in the experimental class was improved,and the reading ability of the students has changed significantly,and the method of peer praise is proved to be effective by independent sample T test.2.The improvement of students' reading interest played a key role in this experiment.3.Peer praise has an impact on students' learning behavior,which is mainly reflected in improving students' reading interest,making teacher-student relationships more harmonious,and improving students' communication and collaboration capabilities.Through the above experiences and the experiment,the following Suggestions are summarized as to how peer praise can improve students' reading ability:1.Teachers should play a leading role in peer praise;2.Students need to work together effectively in peer praise.3.Focus on the reading review in peer praise;4.Teachers should pay attention to cultivate students' initiative in peer praise.
