In China,international education is a relatively new field of education.With the deepening of reform and opening-up policy,it has developed into one of the key areas of education in China.Educators keep exploring in a down-to-earth manner in terms of cooperation between parents and school,based on the concept of educational development management,which primarily addresses importance to the development of student and co-participation of parents and schools in life of the student,outlining practical experience in exploration and jointly devote to an idea,uniting parents and schools and working cooperatively to raise new-generation elites.In the era of comprehensively profound education reform,international education vigorously promotes collaboration between parents and schools in high schools and strives to discover the problems and coping strategies that arise in them.It is of great significance theoretically and pragmatically to promote the all-around growth of the education system and the education level of international high schools.At present,due to the lack of related experience on uniting parents and schools,the research progress is relatively slow,while various problems in the cooperation have to be resolved urgently.This article is written to verify the specific problems and potential issues in international high school collaboration between parents and schools,and to rationally analyze the existing and potential problems to explore appropriate practical strategies.This article conducts a questionnaire survey and interviews in certain international high school of Dalian about parent-school collaboration,conducting comprehensive analysis based on the fundamental definition of the concept.Utilizing the highlight issues in its process to understand the current situation of that international high school-parent collaboration,focusing on effective strategies in order to highlight the quality of information resources such as empirical investigation.Based on the synthetical analysis of the results,a qualitative analysis is carried out to guide the current practice of international high school-parent collaboration and enrich the development of the theoretical system in China,providing typical experiences and examples under the education reform background.After investigation and analysis,the issue of school-parent collaboration in this certaininternational high school in Dalian was found in the following aspects: First,there are differences in the educational concept between parents and school;Second,great resistance comes from problematic families in school-parent collaboration;Third,the difficult students bring collaboration under great challenges;Fourth,parents lack understanding of relevant knowledge in international education;Fifth,there are many restrictions during the cooperation between teachers and parents.The necessity of improving collaboration efficiency can be seen from the above comprehensively.Based on this,several suggestions for solving the problem of collaboration in this Dalian International High School were proposed in following: First,create a correct educational concept and reach an educational consensus;Second,pay attention to rational guidance and elimination of the negative effects in problematic family education;Third,seize the education opportunity to correctly deal with students' problems and make parents responsible.Fourth,establish self-confidence in cooperation and intensify the learning of relevant knowledge in the field of international education;Fifth,overcome the influence of adverse factors and pragmatically carry out various forms of cooperative activities.
