The Impact Of The Implementation Of The "Sports And Health" Curriculum Survey Program In Shilin Yi Autonomous County On The Physical Education Of Junior High Schools

In 2016,with the implementation of the policy of teacher exchange and rotation,quantifiable teaching achievements became an important basis for determining the exchange and rotation personnel;in the same year,the education department of Shilin County launched the "refinement and integration" assessment policy,which made it clear that teaching achievements were an important basis for the year-end performance assessment of physical education teachers.In this context,in April 2017,Shilin County issued the test program for physical education,music and arts discipline in primary and secondary schools of Shilin County,which takes the theoretical knowledge of physical education and health in junior high school as the content of the final exam,and takes the score as the performance assessment standard for teachers of music,physical education and arts.The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of the implementation of this policy on Junior High School Physical Education in Shilin County,explore the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of this policy,and provide a theoretical reference for the reform and development of junior high school physical education in Shilin County.In this study,teachers(34 people)and students(678 people)of five junior middle schools in Shilin County were investigated by questionnaire.The results show that 69.6% of the students agree with the rationality of the test plan,81% believe that the implementation of the physical education theory test is helpful to the physical education in the middle school,and 73.5% support the physical education theory test.After the implementation of the evaluation program,68.8% of the students said that their enthusiasm for exercise had improved significantly;however,the time of physical activity of the students every day did not change much compared with that before the implementation.In contrast,students prefer to take outdoor physical education(89.4%).In sharp contrast with students,teachers only support 23.5% of the physical education theory test,and 44.1% of them are against it.Only 23.5% of the teachers think that the test plan can improve the curriculum status of physical education and health,but 41.2% of them don't think it can;after the implementation of the plan,physical education will be occupied by other subjects(82.3%);the importance of physical education teachers in school education can't be demonstrated(64.7%).Teachers' understanding of the role of physical education theory examination in promoting physical education is not uniform(47.1%,35.3%);however,physical education teachers(79.4%)generally increase the proportion of indoor theory courses;58.8% of teachers think that physical education theory knowledge has a guiding role in students' Physical Education Practice;it is helpful to improve students' participation in sports(52.9%);teachers(64.7%)and students(77.3%)all recognize it In order to learn the theoretical knowledge of sports,it is helpful to improve the learning of sports skills.In the aspect of evaluation,58.4% of the students hope to add the scores of physical education theory test to the final scores,but they are not in favor of only using the scores of physical education theory test to evaluate themselves(54.1%).55.9% of the teachers think that it is unreasonable to evaluate their teaching quality with the results of the physical education theory test;50% of the teachers think that the content of the test paper does not match the content of the textbook;and the evaluation of the physical education theory learning lacks a unified standard(55.9%).According to Mao Zhenming's theory of elements of physical education,the influence of the physical education and health test program of Shilin County on physical education is as follows:(1)students basically agree with the survey program of physical education and health course,and support physical education theory teaching and examination.Students generally think that physical education theory teaching is helpful to the realization of physical education goals.The implementation of the survey program is conducive to the acquisition of students' theoretical knowledge of physical education,improves their enthusiasm for exercise,and promotes the learning of sports skills,which reflects the guiding role of sports theory in students' physical education practice.(2)physical education teachers have increased their theoretical knowledge reserve and improved their teaching ability and methods in the process of physical education subject survey program.However,they do not understand and do not agree with the survey plan,and basically show a negative attitude.It is considered that the survey program has little effect on the promotion of the status and importance of physical education curriculum.(3)the implementation of the physical education subject survey program has clarified the objective of physical education theory teaching and objectively weakened the physical activity characteristics of physical education,which is not conducive to the realization of students' physical education practice goals.(4)in terms of teaching content,the teaching content of physical education theory increases,resulting in the improper proportion of physical education theory and practice class hours.In terms of teaching process,a large number of PE theory courses have replaced sports skill practice courses,which has a negative impact on the reasonable operation of PE teaching process.In terms of teaching environment,students' indoor physical education increased,which affected their demand for outdoor environment.(5)in terms of teaching methods,the use frequency of physical education teaching methods that convey information by language and words is increased.(6)the physical education examination program only USES theoretical examination results to evaluate teachers and students,but it has not been universally recognized and expected by teachers and students.
