In the new curriculum standard of physics,it is pointed out that the core quality of physics discipline should be cultivated.Based on this background,the author takes educational psychology and thinking science as the theoretical support to study the effectiveness of cultivating students' physical science thinking based on discovery teaching method in high school physics classroom.In view of the immeasurability of scientific thinking,this study selected Rasch model as the measurement basis and used Wilson's "four building blocks" model as the reference to design the physical science thinking test scale.The rationality of the scale was tested by analyzing the pre-test results of two classes of students.Based on the pre-test results and the four elements of physical science thinking,the author constructs a physics classroom based on the discovery teaching method to cultivate the students' scientific thinking in grade one,and puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies,aiming at promoting the development of the students' physical science thinking level in grade one.The research object of this study was to X,a public high school senior grade two class' s and grade's student,using the research methods are literature method and experimental method,through the literature review related research background and find theory support,design test scale,through the experimental method of experimental classes and that in comparative classes after a pretest according to the results of a pretest,put forward the corresponding teaching strategies and implement in the experimental classes of teaching experiments,to test the effectiveness of teaching strategies.Specific research results are as follows:1.Based on literature review,I have understood the research status of discovery teaching method and physical science thinking at home and abroad,analyzed the rationality of cultivating physical science thinking of senior high school students based on discovery teaching method on the basis of the existing research,and constructed the flow chart of specific implementation.2.Using Rasch model designed high student physical scientific thinking test scale,scale are mainly composed of multiple choice,content involves only the high student learning content at present stage and some logical reasoning,and the test reliability and validity of the scale,based on the results of questionnaire to probe for the two high school grade class the students' present situation of physical scientific thinking.The results show that the overall scientific thinking literacy of the research object is low,and the estimated value of the physical science thinking ability of most students is below or near the average level.In addition,the t-test results of independent samples showed that the physical science thinking ability of students of different genders also had significant differences,and the average level of physical science thinking of male students in the study group was higher than that of female students.Whether it was universal could be determined only after the research scope was expanded.3.Based on the test results before two classes or student physical analysis of the present status of scientific thinking,the author constructed based on the discovery teaching method in cultivating scientific thinking for high student physics classroom,design flow chart of the concrete implementation of the teaching,combined with the four elements of physical scientific thinking and the characteristics of discovery teaching method put forward the corresponding teaching strategies,respectively in the physics concept class,regular class,experiment and recitation.The post-test results show that the scientific thinking ability of the experimental class is obviously higher than that of the control class,but there are gender differences between the two classes,which indicates that the discovery teaching method can effectively cultivate students' physical science thinking,but it cannot make up for the gender differences.
