With the deepening of economic globalization and the internationalization of education,colleges and universities in various countries are attaching more and more importance to cross-border exchanges and cooperation in education,and China has also explicitly proposed to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation.The rapid development of foreign exchanges in higher education,especially in postgraduate education,has played a positive role in improving the quality of postgraduate education.However,in the form and quantity of continuous expansion at the same time,we should also pay great attention to the implementation of overseas exchange programs.This study combines qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the general situation of the overseas exchange programs of students in S university and describe the types and characteristics of the overseas exchange programs of graduate students in S university.The core of the research is to understand the graduate student satisfaction situation of foreign exchange programs in colleges and universities,therefore,the author to attended university student S foreign exchange program as a graduate student of sampling investigation object,received a total of 150 valid questionnaires as raw data,combining with the relevant project management part of the students and the teacher interview survey,a total of 16 people as auxiliary material.The findings are as follows: first,the overall satisfaction of graduate students with the overseas exchange program of S university ranges from satisfied to very satisfied,but there are differences in the degree of student satisfaction.Secondly,in the five specific dimensions of the survey,students' satisfaction is low: in terms of the project curriculum,students' satisfaction is low on the textbooks included in the project,the number and length of the course,and the specialty of the course.In terms of learning environment,students' satisfaction with the reputation of the exchange school is low.In terms of project management and service,students' satisfaction with the project management teacher's answer to questions,the degree of publicity in the early stage of the project,and the supporting policies of the project are low.In terms of personal gains,the improvement of quality is greater than the improvement of ability than the improvement of professional knowledge.Thirdly,there is no significant difference in the overall satisfaction of the exchange programs among the postgraduates of different genders,majors and grades,but there are significant differences in individual dimensions among the postgraduates of different majors and grades.Based on questionnaire and interview result analysis,the problems found are: the number of public projects is small and the imbalance of student exchange programs overseas resource allocation,few long-term exchange programs,and types of the low degree of diversification,short-term exchange program quality remains to be improved,the propaganda work and needs to improve project supporting policies,professional courses and the depth of the communication needs to be strengthen,the lack of perfect professional project management team and project evaluation system.According to the research conclusion,it is suggested that colleges and universities from multiple ways to raise funds to increase investment,expanding more long-term exchange programs and improving the quality of short-term exchange program,the reasonable allocation of resources to enhance the project curriculum,improve the professional project of promoting and supporting policies,strengthening the construction of the project management team and the communication between departments,completing the project's early research and late evaluation feedback.
