The changes of the times give more functions to school buildings.In school education,school architecture embodies the concept and thought of running a school,the characteristics of a school and the leadership of the principal.Therefore,as a leader in the development of a school,the president's spatial leadership determines the presentation of the school's physical education and the embodiment of the school's educational function,which is called "evaluating a school,evaluating a president first".Therefore,whether it is research proof or basic common sense,let us know the impact of principal leadership on the development of a school.Especially since the outline of the national medium and long term education reform and development plan(2010-2020),it puts forward to strengthen the training of principals,and puts forward higher requirements and expectations for the appointment of principals.According to the relevant literature,with the increase of new schools and the management of school culture,our school principals' spatial leadership is being paid more and more attention,and some research results have been achieved.This research puts forward questions from the needs of the development of the times,the needs of the school culture and the needs of the professional development.According to the typical personality of the M school principal who is in the new campus and is preparing to rebuild the old campus,it is determined to be the case study object.Based on the core concept and connotation analysis of spatial leadership,the research methods such as interviewing the principal,case analysis and observing the campus are adopted The spatial leadership of M school principal was investigated and analyzed.The case study shows that in practice,the principal's spatial leadership appears at the level of principal system,the reality of the principal's spatial leadership is absent;in the professional level,the thinking of the principal's spatial leadership is absent;in the knowledge level,the principal's understanding of the spatial leadership is absent;in the design level,the principal's cultural absence of the school's spatial leadership is absent;in the interpersonal level,the space is absent Lack of leadership team and participation in design.The analysis of the root causes shows that although the problems are expressed in the principals,the root causes come from the insufficient attention and attention of the objective management system.Subjectively,the principals' personal professional knowledge,consciousness,management ability and participation opportunities will affect the exercise and play of the principals' spatial leadership.Finally,based on the findings and analysis of the interview,this paper puts forward suggestions to improve the spatial leadership of principals from the institutional level,professional level,knowledge level,design level and interpersonal level respectively: at the institutional level of principals,call on the education department to attach importance to and pay attention to the spatial leadership of principals;at the professional level of principals,improve the professional ability of the spatial leadership of principals;at the knowledge level of Principals In the aspect of principals' design,the management ability of principals' spatial leadership should be strengthened;in the aspect of principals' interpersonal,the spatial leadership team should be established to create opportunities to participate in the design.To promote the development of spatial leadership of principals in many ways and in many directions.
