Art class is a basic culture class in ordinary middle schools,and it has always been the main way to provide aesthetic education to students.For junior high school students,they are in the critical period of cognitive formation,and the ability to correctly interpret beauty and ugliness needs to be improve the fine art education.Based on the collation and analysis of various documents and books,this article explores and interprets the ugly appreciating ability in art teaching in junior high school,in order to clarify the conceptual meaning and functional composition of "ugly" and "the ugly".At the same time,based on the questionnaire survey method and interview method,based on the development of Chongqing Wanzhou senior high school,the status of cultivating ugly aptitude,the status quo of ugly appreciating consciousness,and the development trend of ugly appreciating education.Carry out a comprehensive analysis,and then propose how to strengthen the "ugly scrutiny" training in junior high school art theory teaching,practical teaching,and extracurricular activities,and train students to correctly understand the ugly argument from the "ugly scrutiny" perspective in order to actively complete the current new curriculum standards for junior high The requirement of students’ comprehensive aesthetic ability training and promotion guides contemporary middle school students to form scientific and rational aesthetic ideas and methods in order to improve the aesthetic quality of middle school students.This article is mainly divided into the following chapters according to the research purpose: First,complete the overview of the "ugly" cultural resources.Starting from various documents and materials,the definition of "ugly" is secular and artistic,and the cultural,educational and social functions of "ugly" are explained.Secondly,on the basis of clarifying the current "ugly" cultural resources of the society,the current situation of junior high school art education and ugly auditing is investigated.In order to clarify the current development of art education in junior high school and the application of "ugly" resources.Thirdly,based on the Chongqing Wanzhou senior high school art education and ugly scrutiny situation,carry out a study on the practical application teaching method of "ugly scrutiny" in junior high school art classroom.Provide a certain realistic basis for the resource arrangement and application strategies of the "ugly" culture in the following.To sum up,from the perspective of the dialectical view of beauty and ugliness,ugly review has always been a blind spot in the art class of junior high school,and the ugly vitality is hidden behind the history of beauty.However,by actively incorporating ugly scrutiny teaching into junior high school art teaching,it will help to form a new aesthetic education atmosphere in which beauty and ugliness are complementary and orderly,and it will help junior high school students to form correct aesthetic education values.
