In today's era,with the rapid development of science and the shortening of the old cycle of knowledge,it is more important for students to cultivate their abilities in all aspects than to acquire limited knowledge.According to literature research and expert interviews,the injection teaching of "teachers teach,students practice" is still the main teaching form of physical education classroom teaching in Colleges and universities.This form of teaching limits the personalized development of students,and makes students' independent learning ability and learning interest present a downward trend.The "five-star teaching mode" proposed by Merrill in 2002 plays an important role in cultivating students' autonomous learning ability and learning interest level.Therefore,the application of five-star teaching mode in the teaching of Cheerleading course of public sports in Colleges and universities aims to provide practical reference and case support for the application of five-star teaching mode by college PE teachers.Two girls' cheerleading classes of 2018 class of Public Physical Education in North China College(Danyang campus)of Nanjing Normal University were selected as the experimental objects.Through the 16 week teaching experiment,the influence of five-star teaching mode on students' physical quality,skill level,autonomous learning ability and interest in physical education and learning was explored.Research methods include literature,questionnaire,experiment,expert consultation,comparative analysis and mathematical statistics.The research process includes the design and implementation of teaching experiment,the measurement of students' self-learning ability and interest level of sports learning before and after the experiment,the evaluation of students' physical quality before and after the experiment,and the evaluation of five-star teaching mode after the experiment.After the completion of the teaching experiment,through quantitative and qualitative analysis to verify the application effect of the five-star teaching mode in college public physical education,this paper puts forward the influencing factors of the application of the five-star teaching mode in college public physical education,and puts forward the basic countermeasures.The conclusions are as follows:1.Through 16 weeks of experimental research,it is confirmed that the five-starteaching mode can effectively improve the students' cheerleading technical level,sports autonomous learning ability and sports learning interest level,but it does not significantly help the improvement of physical quality.2.Most of the students hold a positive attitude towards the five-star teaching mode,but a small number of students say that when they apply skills,they have certain difficulties in application because of insufficient digestion time after skill learning.3.The application of five-star teaching mode in cheerleading course teaching in Colleges and universities,influenced by many factors,teachers' teaching concept lags behind,teaching and learning ability is insufficient,students lack good learning habits and correct learning attitude,teaching design is difficult,teaching facilities are insufficient,and so on,all of which will hinder the successful application of five-star mode.4.The basic strategies for the successful application of the five-star teaching mode are: changing the traditional teaching concept of physical education teachers;constantly improving the teaching ability and quality of teachers;encouraging and forcing students to develop cooperative learning habits;strengthening the communication and cooperation between teachers and students;making full use of existing resources and reasonably designing teaching according to the teaching content.
