SOLO means "structure of the observed learning outcome".The SOLO evaluation theory is a theory based on the analysis of students' learning results in specific learning tasks.The theory is based on the analysis of thinking operation mode and response structure,and divides the learning results of students into five levels of thinking from the aspects of ability,thinking operation,consistency and closure,and response structure.Applying the SOLO evaluation theory to the teaching of modern Chinese reading can effectively focus on the student's learning process,present the student's cognitive development process,help teachers judge the student's level of thinking,serve teaching and evaluation,and meet the Chinese curriculum standard in the curriculum.Expectations from the perspectives of nature,core literacy,and evaluation suggestion.It is of practical significance to choose a certain point of entry to introduce the SOLO evaluation method into the teaching of the Chinese subject.This thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter analyzes the theoretical basis,specific content,and advantages of the SOLO evaluation method.Based on this,it determines the modern text reading teaching from the perspective of the nature of the curriculum,core literacy,new curriculum standard evaluation recommendations,and modern text reading characteristics.The second chapter analyzes the relevant data of the second year of the Nanjing and Yancheng Chinese language simulation exams in 2018 and the survey and test of the sunshine index at the end of the first year of high school in Suzhou in 2020.Problems,and roughly outline the idea of the application of the SOLO evaluation method in the teaching of modern text reading.Based on the combing and analysis of the previous two chapters,the third chapter combines specific teaching cases,and attempts to present the application of SOLO evaluation theory in modern text reading from the two aspects of teaching guidance and formative evaluation,and based on this,its development trend and its application prospects for further analysis.
