Time is an important internal factor that shapes the possibility of children's life in the kindergarten,and it constructs the reality of children's life in the kindergarten.So,the attention to children's time in the kindergarten means the attention to the quality of children's life.In this study,one child from three kindergartens in H Province and a certain City was selected as the research object,and the observation method was mainly adopted,supplemented by random interviews to obtain relevant information.Based on the combing of relevant literature,the researchers will try to use the relevant theories of social time as the basis,and mainly learn from the theory of time ecology to explore the children's life time in the kindergarten.The study found,Children's living time in the kindergarten first presents a "more parts,short-period" time arrangement in the time structure,and "teaching time before the game time","alternating cycle of life activities and other activities" in sequence arrangement.In addition,life activities took up the largest proportion of time;the teaching activity time is extended,the game activity time is reduced;and other time is hidden in the actual time arrangement.Second,in the form of time,teachers have a combination of hard and soft time management means.Children not only show their compliance with the time arrangement,but also have conflicts with teachers in time.Based on the examination of the present situation of children's time in kindergarten,the researchers extract the following five time characteristics and corresponding dilemmas: First,fragmentation of time distribution disintegrates the integrity of children's time;Second,the chronological time logic violates the fluidity of children's time;Third,the collective time rhythm imprisons the individuality of children's time;Fourth,the fixed time plan limits the variability of children's life time;Fifth,the teacher-controlled schedule deprives children of their choice of life time.With the guidance of time ecology theory framework,from the time demand,time power and politics of early childhood,analyzing the time dilemmas found that:under the authoritarian division relationship,young children's time was deprived by teachers' power,children's time requirements cannot be satisfied,which is covered by the teachers' time requirements of chasing the future.In order to break through the plight of children's time,the researchers think the kindergarten and preschool teachers can adopt the following path: kindergarten on the basis of flexible implementation time structure,it is giving children the development space under the weak control which can be used to find that young children's time requirements,and through the establishment of action reference in the children's present time mechanism to meet the demand of young children's time.
