Objective: The level of sensory integration ability is an important part that affects the growth and development of young children. With the acceleration of urbanization, the reduction of activity space and the formation of labor-saving lifestyles, the reduction of sensory stimuli experienced by children leads to a decline in sensory integration ability. And the currently adopted sensory integration training is only used for limited sensory integration equipment and targeted training methods.Mainly use games to conduct targeted training for a certain dimension of sensory integration.Based on the characteristics of sensory integration theory and the characteristics of children's physical and mental development, this article understands the development status of children's sensory integration, observes and analyzes which dimensions of children's sensory integration ability, and explores the feasibility of martial arts exercises to improve children's sensory integration ability.provide reference for children's physical education curriculum, and provide reference suggestions for the promotion and popularization of martial arts in kindergartens. Methods: This paper adopts research methods such as literature data method, scale test method, field measurement method, and experimental method.60 children from Nanjing Shishi Fenghua Kindergarten were selected as experimental subjects, and they were divided into experimental group and control group.Participate in the kindergarten's outdoor sports and sports games based on martial arts intervention for 12 weeks,3 lessons per week,40 minutes per lesson.Children in the control group only participated in outdoor sports courses and sports games in kindergartens. The experimental design of the front-to-back measurement between the experimental group and the control group was used. The scores of the comparison scale between the groups before and after the martial arts intervention were compared using the paired sample t test.Functional, tactile defense, and proprioceptive effects.Results:(1)Before intervention, there was no difference in sensory integration ability between the two groups of children(P> 0.05).After 12 weeks of martial arts intervention, the children's sensory integration ability in the experimental group improved in all aspects.Among them, the effect on the improvement of vestibular function and proprioception was more significant(P <0.01),and there was no improvement in children's tactile defense(P> 0.05).There was no change in the sensory integration ability of the children in the control group(P> 0.05).(2)Before the intervention, there was no difference in the physical exercise ability of the two groups of children(P> 0.05).After 12 weeks of martial arts practice intervention, the balance and physical coordination of the children in the experimental group were improved. The results of the kangaroo jumping score and the 30-second sandbag performance were the most significant(P <0.01),and the perceived jumping performance and closed-line walking straight line performance also improved to a certain extent(P <0.05).In the control group, after passing the regular 12-week kindergarten course, there was no change in the straight line performance with closed eyes(P> 0.05).The 4-meter kangaroo jump performance and 30-second sandbag performance also showed significant changes(P <0.01).It must be improved(P <0.05).Conclusions:(1)Wushu exercises intervention will have a positive effect on young children's sensory integration ability.Among them, the two indexes of proprioception and vestibular function are the most significant. There is no significant change in young children's tactile defense, and young children's balance and physical coordination.Capabilities have also improved significantly.(2)Wushu exercises can promote the development of children's balance and physical coordination.(3)The improvement of sensory integration ability has a positive impact on children's balance and physical coordination ability, but the improvement of single motor ability cannot represent the improvement of sensory integration ability.
