With the continuous development of society,there are higher requirements for contemporary college students to enter the society after graduation.Learning to cooperate with others and having a good spirit of cooperative learning is very important in today's society,which can make students get a good adaptation in society.With the advancement of the new round of curriculum reform in China,more and more attention has been paid to the reform of teaching methods and the cultivation of students' good cooperative learning spirit and ability.In the process of learning,through cooperation and communication with others,we can enrich our emotional experience,at the same time,we can use a variety of dynamic factors for interactive learning,promote the relationship between teachers and students,and improve the group cohesion between students.In this paper,the author uses the application and effect of "cooperative learning teaching method" in the swimming elective course teaching of South Central University for Nationalities as the research object,and uses the research methods of literature survey,expert interview,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and practical verification to try to solve the problem of using cooperative learning teaching method in the swimming teaching of South Central University for nationalities The problems of learning teaching method.This paper takes the students of two swimming elective classes(experimental class and control class)in the 18 th level of Central South University for Nationalities as the experimental objects,and conducts a semester's breaststroke teaching for the two classes of students.Before and after the experiment,the swimming scores,swimming learning interests and group cohesion of the two classes of students are tested.The data were analyzed by spss.20.come to conclusion:1.Through the final assessment results of 50 m speed swimming and 2-minute distance swimming,the results of 50 m speed swimming in the control class are better than those in the experimental class.In the swimming teaching,the traditional teaching method still plays an important role.In the 2-minute distance swimming,the overall performance of the experimental class is better than that of the control class,and cooperative learning teaching method plays a certain role in swimming teaching.2.From the perspective of improving students' interest,cooperative learning teaching method can better stimulate students' learning motivation,and improve students' interest in learning by improving the relationship between teachers and students,enriching the teaching situation,and activating the classroom atmosphere.3.From the perspective of improving the group cohesion of students,through the analysis of the group cohesion strength table before and after the two class experiment,cooperative learning teaching method has more advantages in improving the cohesion.
