Research On Rise And Fall Of Industry And Commerce In The Perspective Of Regional Industrial Distribution

Lu'an City and Ze'zhou City,collectively called Luze district,are located in the southeast of Shanxi province,which is the border area of Shanxi,Hebei and Henan provinces.Lu,an City was composed of Changzhi,Zhangzi?Tunliu?Xiangyuan?Lucheng?Licheng?Huguan and Pingshun;Zezhou City was consisted of Fengtai?Gaoping?Yangcheng?Lingchuan and Qinshui.Mountain lands,hills and basins crisscross within and there are two mountains,Taihang Mountain and Wangwu Mountain.Main rivers are Zhang River,Qinshui River and Dan River.The climate here is warm temperate semi-humid continental monsoon climate.Traffic here was very convenient and "the road of tea and silk" of Shanxi Commerce passed here necessarily.In Qing dynasty,there were limited land but a big population,sterile earth and impoverished people.Average land area per person was few and agricultural development level was relatively low,and food production was insufficient.But there were abundant natural resources,such as rich iron resource,coal resource,sulphur mine resource.Silkworms ramie and medicinal materials were also very rich.Besides,people here had traditional view and custom of "Value Commerce and Chase Nonessentials",and many of them went out to do business.In Qing Dynasty,the main industry and commerce run by Luze businessman include mining industry,handicraft industry and merchandise exchange.Mining industry mainly includes iron-smelting industry,coal industry and bronze-making industry and so on.Handicraft industry mainly contains silk industry,flax industry,paper manufacturing industry,china manufacturing industry,glass industry,medicinal material industry and beer-brewing industry and furs and skins industry.In Qing Dynasty,abundant natural resource offered tremendous raw materials for the development of handicraft industry and mining industry.Superior geographical location and adjacence to Henan province,Hebei province,Taiyuan and even Beijing would acquire raw materials,send information and occupy vast consumption market more conveniently.Food insufficiency caused people to give up agriculture and do business,which leads to pervasive commerce-valueing custom.Geographical environment,natural condition,traffic,economic technology and social political factors brought prosperous development of mining industry,handicraft industry and commerce in Luze district in Qing dynasty and special industrial layout in Luze district come into being,which is centered on Lu'an City and Zezhou City,regional industrial town group formed by industrial towns characteristic with coal industry and iron-melting industry,which are Yincheng Town,Baodian Town,Dayang Town and Runcheng Town,as well as local merchandise exchange market with the center of Baodian Fair.With the change of social political factor and economic technical factor such as insufficient raw material,heavy taxes and technical lag at the end of Qing dynasty,the decline of industry and commerce in Luze district were caused.So,location choosing influential factors of industrial distribution work on the rise and fall of industrial development in Luze district directly.Regional industrial layout theory refers to a theory about industrial space distribution and combination economic phenomenon in a country or a district.Statically,it refers to distributional condition and locational combination on space of each department,each factor and each link which form industry.Dynamically,it presents as configuration and reconfiguration process of spatial and regional flow,transference and recombination which are formed by each resource,production factor even each industry and enterprise to choose optimum position.Location choosing influential factor is analyzed with focus and is divided into geographical positional factor,natural factor,traffic factor,economic technical factor and social political factor.Focusing on the development of industry and commerce in Luze district in Qing dynasty,the effects of location choosing influential factors,of industrial distribution on the rise and fall of industry and commerce is discussed so as to help to adjust regional industrial structure,make regional economic development policies and accelerate the promotion of regional economic development.
