In the knowledge economy era,competition among enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce.To succeed in a highly competitive environment,maintaining and enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises are inseparable from the human resources.Human resources have become an important source of enterprise’s core competitiveness in knowledge economy era,and job analysis is the basis for human resources.During a long period of time after WE foundation in 1992,WE paid little attention to job analysis,thus all plans and decisions were up to the higher authority.However,in order to make human resource planning and workload arrangement more reasonable,performance appraisal and payment system more equitable,job analysis is promoted throughout the company to motivate staff members.I am being involved in this job analysis program,and taking part in this program in the whole course.This thesis derives from the living example of the enterprise.The studies follow the theory of "raising a question,analyzing the problem,solving the problem".Firstly,WE company’s current situation of post setting has been analyzed and some problems in the post setting have been found.The necessity of job analysis has been confirmed.Secondly,the plans and designs of job analysis project have been detailed.The analytic targets are managers,professionals,and organizing function.Questionnaires,interviews,and job specifications have been designed.After that,according to questionnaire we raised,the job analysis data collection are from bottom to top,and then from top to bottom.In 18 departments and 40 jobs or so in WE,the thesis has conducted a series of analysis on the program in which I participated,including analysis on duty,accountability,relationship,labor-intensity and etc.The comprehensive job analysis on duties and tasks in WE company has been finished.WE company position descriptions have been established at last.Finally,according to applying and feedback,Post standardization design document has been formulated.Some suggestions of institutional framework and post redesign have been put forward.On the basis of explicit analysis on a variety of problems,the thesis has laid a solid foundation for a scientific and regulatory human resource management system.The valuable experience accumulated during the job analysis will contribute to WE company’s future work and the empirical research is importance in both theoretical and practical significance.
