In today's society, the scale of the city has been expanding. As an important part of the urban system, the traffic function has brought a series of heavy real problems, such as a sharp increase in the demand for traffic,a sharp decline in the efficiency of urban activities, and environmental pollution has been increasingly serious.Faced with such a grim situation, change the travel way of residents, improve the efficiency of urban operations, and give priority to develop public transport are all imperative. In the stimulation of China's urbanization process and the rapid development of tourism, economic hotels are expanding rapidly in major cities with its unique business model. However,in recent years, the market competition is becoming more intense, land resources is increasingly tight. These conditions restricted economic hotels' expansion, and economic hotels making the location more prominent.Traffic is one of the important factors that affect the location conditions. Therefore,it is necessary to combine the characteristics of public transport network to study the spatial distribution of economic hotels, which is of great significance to the rational distribution and development of economic hotels in cities.Based on the improved Multiple Centrality Assessment Model(MCA),density analysis and spatial autocorrelation analysis method, this paper studies the spatial correlation between public transport network and economy hotels, which is conducive to scientific planning public transport and coordinate the space relationship between public transport and economic hotels. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1.Kernel density indicates a clear city multicenter directivity of the public transportation network centralities in Wuhan, and the concentration decreases progressively from the central areas to the periphery. The station sites in the center of Hankou have the highest closeness. The sites near Optical Valley Square have the highest betweeness, and also under the greatest traffic pressure. The sites along with Jiefang Avenue and Zhongshan Road have the highest straightness, which means they have the best transport efficiency.2.The spatial distribution pattern of economic hotels presents a multi-level multi-core and multi-circle structure, and the regional variations between different areas are obvious.According to this spatial pattern, economic hotels can be divided into business center type, transportation hub type, tourist attractions type, university dependent type, and administrative center type.3.Overall,there is a significant positive correlation between public transportation network centralities and the economic hotels layout in Wuhan City."High-High5" and"Low-Low" coupling are the main spatial correlation patterns. It indicates that economic hotels tend to located in the places with high public transport efficiency and good location.4.At the local level, spatial correlation patterns between public transportation network centralities and economic hotels exhibit spatial nonstationarity and heterogeneity. The local spatial correlation dendrogram indicates that "High-High"and "Low-Low" coupling are the main spatial correlation patterns. The distribution characteristics of the "High-High" type cluster to the central area, and "Low-Low"type cluster in the peripheral area, are prevalent."High-Low" and "Low-High" types are distributed sporadically in the transitional areas. This result also indicates that the distribution of economic hotels is affected by various factors, including public transportation network centralities.
