Since the reform and opening up,China's foreign trade has made a great leap forward progress.At the same time,the inspection agencies which related to the import and export business also emerged and developed accordingly.Z company as a large state-owned third party import and export inspection agency,has took the responsibility of the quality inspection of goods in the process of import and export commodities trade.Prior to 2003,Z company as the official inspection agency,is leading a monopoly position in the import and export inspection industry,occupy most of the market share of import and export inspection market.However,after 2003,according to China's WTO commitments,foreign certification and inspection organization began to enter China domestic market,as well as private inspection agencies is developing rapidly,these all brought big pressure of competition to Z company.It's an imminent problem that in the changing competitive environment,how Z company face the competition from domestic and foreign inspection agencies,how Z company recognize the existing competitive strategy,how Z company adjust the competitive strategy to gain a competitive advantage in the inspection market.This paper mainly uses literature,comparative research method,form model,system analysis and questionnaire methods,using a combination of theory and practice ideas,discussing how Z company adjusting the competitive strategy,introduce the low cost leadership strategy by focusing on reform of product line mode,demonstrate the rationality of advantage competition strategy adjustment by comparing competition advantage before and after the change.Finally,the paper discusses the problems and solutions of the organization,inspection resources,financial resources and marketing resources changes in the product line mode reform.The results show that,through the analysis of the competitive environment,Z company has made a competitive strategy and introduced a low cost leading strategy,which can improve the competitive advantage by reducing the relative cost.
