Research On The Influence Of Technical Innovation To Industrial Upgrading

Technological innovation is a prerequisite for industrial upgrading.There is no industrial upgrading without technical reserves.However,technological innovation does not necessarily lead to industrial upgrading.Technology must spread to related industries and accumulate to a certain extent to promote industrial upgrading.Gansu Province is located in the northwestern region of our country.Compared with the eastern provinces,Gansu Province lags behind in economy and people's living standard is relatively low.In recent years,although the overall capability of industrial structure and technological innovation in Gansu has been improved and improved,it still lags behind the rest of the country in most parts of the country.If we want to narrow the gap between the economic development of Gansu Province and other developed provinces,we must comprehensively push forward the capacity building of technological innovation and promote the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure.This paper first systematically combs the relevant research and theory about the effect of technological innovation,industrial upgrading and technological innovation on industrial upgrading at home and abroad.Then it constructs a theoretical model to deduce the mechanism of technological innovation on industrial upgrading from a theoretical perspective.Then,Industry development level,the status quo of industrial upgrading and the status of technological innovation and other aspects of the detailed analysis.On this basis,this dissertation uses the panel data of prefecture-level cities in Gansu Province from 2004 to 2015,and uses the fixed effect model(FE),stochastic effect model(RE)and system GMM to analyze the impact of technological innovation on the upgrading of industrial structure Impact.Based on the theoretical analysis,this paper analyzes the impact mechanism and empirical results of previous technological innovation on industrial upgrading,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures recommendations.Through the research of this paper,we can get the following main conclusions:(1)The independent innovation has a significant effect on upgrading industries inGansu Province.That is,with the improvement of the independent innovation,the industrial structure will continue to be optimized and upgraded.The increase of foreign technology spillover can promote the industrialization of Gansu Province.Technology Imitation innovation can also promote the upgrading of industrial structure in Gansu Province.Overall,the path of the above three technological innovations can promote the upgrading of industrial structure in Gansu Province.(2)Technological innovation can indirectly affect the upgrading of industrial structure through the adjustment effect,that is,the level of technological innovation will affect the industrial structure through affecting other variables.Technological innovation and employment structure,factor endowments,consumer demand and the role of opening up can promote the upgrading of industrial structure in Gansu Province.It shows that the improvement of technological innovation can promote the development of these factors and promote the upgrading of industrial structure in Gansu Province.The regulatory role of technological innovation and government participation is significantly negative,indicating that the higher the level of technological innovation,the more it will inhibit the role of government policy instruments in upgrading the industrial structure.(3)The effects of other control variables on the upgrading of industrial structure in Gansu Province are different.The optimization of employment structure,the deepening of capital,the improvement of consumption level and the increase of government participation can all promote the industrial structure of Gansu Province to a higher level.However,the effect of opening to the outside world on the upgrading of industrial structure in Gansu Province is not significant,The possible reason is that Gansu Province has been inland for a long time.At present,its degree of opening to the outside world is still not high enough.Therefore,the impact on the upgrading of its industrial structure is insignificant.
