At present, under the background of world economic integration, economic and trade exchanges between countries and regions are increasingly frequent.Through the joint efforts of bilateral, multilateral and regional cooperation, various tariff and non-tariff barriers hindering international trade are being reduced and restricted to some extent. In order to continue to promote the development of trade, the topic of trade facilitation has gradually attracted wide attention at home and abroad. In recent years, with the decline of exports of goods trade, exports of service trade show a steady growth trend.East Asia,as the most active area of economic development in the world, plays an indispensable role in the development of world service trade. In 2016,East Asia's exports of services trade amounted to $928 billion, accounting for 19%of the world's total exports of services trade. In order to better understand the impact of trade facilitation on service trade exports, this thesis studies this issue through theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations.Firstly, based on the export data of service trade under BPM 6,this thesis selects the tourism service trade, transportation service trade, financial service trade and intellectual property trade which have the greatest impact on the export of service trade in East Asia, and explores the function mechanism of trade facilitation on the export of service trade combining with the relevant theories,so as to construct a facilitation evaluation system with infrastructure, customs environment, regulatory environment and business environment as the secondary indicators.Empirical analysis first estimates the East Asian countries(regions)in 2007-2016 trade facilitation score. The results show that the trade facilitation level of different countries(regions)is quite different, but the gap is narrowing. The overall indicators and sub-indicators of trade facilitation were then incorporated into the extended gravity model to verify their impact on exports of trade in services. The empirical results show that trade facilitation has become the second largest influencing factor after population size, and business environment is the most important factor in sub-indicators.Finally,this thesis puts forward some policy suggestions on promoting trade facilitation and expanding service trade exports in East Asia. This thesis is divided into five chapters:the first chapter puts forward the research background and significance of the full text, combs relevant literature, summarizes research ideas and methods, and points out the innovation and shortcomings of this thesis. The second chapter expounds the definition of trade facilitation, and explores the essence, mechanism, status quo and future of trade facilitation by means of free trade theory, transaction cost theory and institutional change theory. The third chapter makes a statistical analysis of the status quo of export of service trade in East Asia, clarifies the mechanism of trade facilitation on trade export, and sets up index system of service trade facilitation, and calculates the facilitation score of East Asian countries(regions)for 2007-2016 years based on this.In the fourth chapter, the influence of trade facilitation on export of service trade is empirically analyzed by using the extended gravity model, and the influence of four facilitation indicators is further compared. The fifth chapter summarizes the conclusions of the study, and puts forward the policy suggestions for promoting the service trade facilitation and promoting the export of service trade in East Asia.
