Floor Stock Inventory Optimization Study Based On Pull Production Mode

In recent years,with the competition of enterprises intensifying and the labor costs rising sharply,the profits of the entity enterprises such as manufacturing have declined significantly,and the development of the whole national economy has entered into the "new normal".On the one hand,enterprises need to make efforts in product innovation and marketing development,on the other hand,they need to improve management level and reduce management costs.Inventory has a large proportion in enterprise cost,so inventory management is also a key object in enterprise management.As an important part of inventory,floor stock inventory plays a very important role in production activities.Previous researches mainly focus on the establishment and research of inventory management model in the whole supply chain system,and there are few researches on the methods of floor stock inventory management.In this context,this article will explore how to effectively manage the floor stock inventory,including raw material inventory and work-in-process inventory.This article firstly reviewed related theory about the pull production mode and the existing literature of inventory management,then in combination with the practical situation of production line side in C company,analyzed the main reasons that caused floor stock inventory too much by using brain storm,QC tools,putting forward the corresponding improvement scheme from the site management,packaging design,production planning,line balance aspects,through the implementation of these solutions,not only improved the C company floor stock inventory status,and improved the lean management level of the company,at the same time,provided the countermeasure and the suggestion to the design of production line from the view of the floor stock inventory optimization research,which has certain inspiration function for production line design.
