An Analysis Of Sino-German Economic And Trade Relations In The Context Of "Belt And Road" Initiative

"Belt and Road,initiative consists of "The Silk Road Economic Belt in twenty-first Century" and "The Maritime Silk Road”.It's an opening system put forward by China which towards the whole world."Belt and Road" initiative is aimed at establishing a good relationship with countries along and to achieve mutual benefit and communication.At the beginning,this initiative was mainly aimed at expedite the relationship between China and the neighbouring countries.While putting forward the initiative,Chinese government realized it was very necessary to take the Europe into account.Germany is the largest trading partner of China in the Europe,as well as the the sixth largest trading partner of China in the world,and China is largest trading partner of German in the world.Germany is located in the heart of Europe with an very convenient transportation system which can help China to transport goods into the European market.At the same time,Germany is the one of most important member in EU.Especially after the financial crisis,the status of German in EU is further improved.If China wants to carry out "Belt and Road”initiative in Europe smoothly,She haves to establish a good relationship with EU.More important,China and Germany have very close economic and trade communications,and the two sides have very strong complementary in economy.The main contents of this paper are as follows:firstly,briefly interpreted the basic connotations of "Belt and Road" initiative;then,expatiated the realistic basis of Sino-German economic and trade cooperation,such as the response to "Belt and Road"initiative in German,potentials of Sino-German cooperation,and economic complementary between the two countries;thirdly,this article analyzed the achievements which China and Germany have made on the cooperation of economic and the trade from the aspects of mutual investment,bilateral trade,current situation of bilateral traffic and transportation,as well as Sino-German industrial cooperation park.;fourthly,this article analyzed some challenges we may faced with on Sino-Germany cooperation,such as the misunderstandings on "Belt and Road" initiative in German,the imbalance of bilateral trade between China and Germany,and the unstable exchange rate of euro;Finally,this the author gave some personal suggestions such as strengthening the communication and coordination of institution and policy,promoting the cooperation of economy and trade constantly...etc.The conclusion of this article is that"Belt and Road" initiative will strengthen the communication and cooperation between Germany and Chinese in many ways.
