Research On The Growth Of Grain Family Farms In Huanghuaihai Plain

The moderately-sized family farms are one of the most important carriers for optimizing the allocation of resources and for bringing modern production elements to agriculture and one of the key forces for building modern agriculture.As one of the important components of the new-type agricultural management in China,family farms have various functions such as ensuring food security,boosting farmers’ income and narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas.China’s No.1 Central Document proposes ―to support the development of family farms‖ every year since 2013.Local governments have also issued a series of measures under the call of the country to promote the growth of family farms.With the rapid development of the number of family farms in China,the growth status and development strategies of family farms have gradually become a hot spot in government agencies and agricultural research fields.Therefore,it is significant importance to r the research growth of family farms and their support policies.Based on the study of grain family farms,this paper investigates the five provinces of Hebei,Henan,Anhui,Shandong and Jiangsu in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain.The concept of family farms is defined by collecting the relevant literature of family farms.And build an growth evaluation system for grain family farm based on the new concept of development.Then from the comprehensive perspective of growth capacity-growth resources-growth environment,the main factors affecting the growth of grain family farms were analyzed and selected.The choice experiment method is used to analyze the preference of grain family farms to the support policies,so as to give the targeted suggestions of policy support.The result showed that: Although the growth of the grain family farm is higher than a moderate level as a whole,there are some differences between individuals.Among this,economic performance is commonly good;the level of innovation is relatively low.In the growth capacity-growth resources-growth environment three dimensions,the most important factors include financing environment,law and policy environment,improvement of production equipment and the social service environment,followed by farmers’ education,regularization of management rules and technology environment.The influence of other factors is relatively weak.So that,it is necessary to guide the balanced development of family farm,optimize the growth conditions,provide precise support,and increase policy support for grain family farms to achieve targeted support.
