Research On Food Security Under The Background Of Agricultural Supply-side Structural Reform

Food security has always been an important issue for each country in every era,No other country in the world,like China,still faces the problem of eating more than 1.4 billion people.So we should pay more attention to food security than any other country.At present,there are some unstable factors in food security in China,which threaten our food security at any time.Therefore,with the development of agricultural supply-side structural reform.It is more necessary for us to understand the logical relationship between reform and food security.Looking for a match between them in order to better promote reform on the basis of food security.In the context of reform,a new concept of new food security,which is more scientific and reasonable,is set up to ensure its realization of this new goal.The food security research under the new situation should be closer to reality.So this paper studies the structural reform of agricultural supply side and the research on food security by various experts and scholars,and combines them more closely.This paper analyzes the existing problems in food security in China,explores the root causes of the problems and finds solutions.The structure of this paper is as follow:First,we will study the contents of the structural reform of agricultural supply side,and make clear the purpose of reform,etc.And then focus on the study of the current food safety problems and the supply side reasons behind,problems including "three quantity Ji Zeng" structural imbalance between supply and demand,food efficiency is not high,lack of competitiveness,ecological resources and environment tightens.The underlying reasons behind this are the low quality of science and technology,the poor quality of workers,the backward industrial system,the imperfect system of relevant systems and the overpopulation of agriculture.It also tries to put forward a new concept of food security based on production safety,quality safety,ecological safety,industrial safety and structural safety.Analysis of agricultural supply side structural reform’s relationship with food security,found the main problems of food security in belong to the supply side,in urgent need of the supply side of the in-depth structural reform,agricultural supply side structural reform is the guarantee of our country’s food security situation is oppressed and the only pathway.Reform under the background of the new food security must pay special attention to several contradictory points,including food production,increasing farmers’ income and scale management three aspects and the inconsistencies of agricultural supply side structural reforms.Finally,it puts forward corresponding countermeasures to ensure food security under the background of supply-side structural reform.The conclusion is that food safety problems existing in the root cause is traditional food security concept is not suitable for the future development trend of grain,the problem of basic belong to the supply side,through the supply side structural reforms can well solve these problems,realize the goal of new food security.
