In the early 1970s,many scholars began to research food security issues.Since then,international and domestic researches on food security have been conducted in many aspects,resulting in a large number of achievements.At the same time,many of the results have great social impact in the world.Both the scope and the domestic have formed a good social effect.The theme of World Food Day 2017 is "Change the Future of Refugees,Invest in Food Security,and Promote Rural Development".However,policy formulation is often lagging behind,seldom accompanied by predictions of new situations.No country in the world has stopped studying food security issues.This article is guided by the policies related to the reform of the agricultural supply side.Based on a review of the relevant researches on food security made by many scholars at home and abroad,China's grain production is taken as the research object,and the concept of food security put forward by the predecessors is combed.In combination with the actual situation in China,the food security connotation level is divided into three levels,namely national food security,household food security and nutritional security,and the standards for each level are defined.Secondly,according to the current situation of grain production in China,analysis and research are conducted on both time and space scales,focusing on the analysis of grain production status based on the agricultural supply side,and analyzing the overall grain production and food structure production status.In the evaluation of food security,this paper uses the single-indicator analysis method,that is,food self-sufficiency rate and multi-factor comprehensive analysis method,to analyze and explore the current situation of grain production in China,and compares the two evaluation results.Then,this article selects 11 factors that may have influence on food production through literature reading methods,and takes the principal component regression analysis method to further explore the relationship between these influencing factors and grain production,so as to obtain a regression equation between each factor and grain yield.And correlative analysis of the regression results.Finally,the main conclusions of this study are:(1)Based on the perspective of the supply side,China's food security is generally relatively safe,but there is a certain potential risk in soybean production.(2)China's grain circulation security level is relatively safe,but there is a certain problem of post-production loss.(3)The level of consumer food safety in China is relatively safe.At the end of this paper,relevant policy recommendations are put forward for the beneficial reference on the research conclusions.
