Research On The Impact Of Investment And Financing On Urbanization In The Western Region Based On The Spatial Measurement Model

The western development strategy,"The Belt and Road" strategy,our country pays more and more attention to the development of the western region,which is also the requirement of our country to realize the comprehensive modernization.To realize the development of Western China,the urbanization process in Western China must be accelerated.The urbanization in the western region is speeding up,but there are still some problems in the process,such as the relatively backward economic level,the low level of urbanization and the imbalance.However,with the development of the western region policy of the government and the government oriented role,the scale of investment and financing in the western region has expanded year by year,and the educational expenditure has increased year by year.This paper mainly studies the impact of investment and financing in the western region on the development of urbanization in this region and its spatial spillover effect.With the development of economy and the convenience of transportation,the regional development is no longer an independent individual,but an influence on the surrounding areas.Therefore,the spatial econometric model is adopted to take into account the spatial factors,which can better explain the impact of investment and financing on the urbanization of the western region.This is of great significance to the study of urbanization in the western region.Through empirical analysis,it is concluded that urbanization has significant spatial spillover effect.Taking the spatial effect into account can better illustrate the reality.The per capital fixed assets,per capital financial institutions' year-end loans and per capital GDP have positive effect on the urbanization construction,while the financial expenditure has a negative effect.This is due to the economic structure of our country? On the other hand,the government`s support is not enough,the investment efficiency is low,and the government's financial structure is not perfect.
