Spatial Econometric Study On Tourism Economic Differences And Influencing Factors In Sichuan Province

Tourism is an effective means to develop the economy and increase employment,as well as an important industry to improve people’s living standards.In the past 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,Sichuan has found a path of innovative development with Sichuan characteristics in the process of exploring tourism development.However,with the good and fast development of tourism economy in Sichuan Province,there is a phenomenon of unbalanced development of tourism economy among different regions in Sichuan Province,and the difference of tourism economy is more and more big.Therefore,the analysis of the differences and influencing factors of tourism economy in Sichuan province is of certain significance in the coordinated and sustainable development of regional tourism economy in Sichuan province.This paper selects the tourism related data of 21 prefecture-level cities in Sichuan province from 2010 to 2019,and analyzes the tourism differences in Sichuan province from the time and space dimensions by using tourism income indicators,and from the overall and local regional levels.In terms of time evolution,the standard deviation and coefficient of variation are used to calculate the absolute and relative differences of the whole and local regions in Sichuan Province,and the time evolution of tourism differences is analyzed.From the perspective of space,Theil coefficient was used to decompose the overall differences within and between groups.Spatial autocorrelation and spatial distribution maps were used to analyze the distribution and evolution characteristics of tourism differences,and the reasons for the existence of regional differences were analyzed according to the regional distribution.In terms of influencing factors,a comprehensive index system is established,and the spatial econometric model is used to analyze the influencing factors of tourism economy in Sichuan Province,and the effects of explanatory variables are decomposed into direct effects and indirect effects.The specific conclusions are as follows :(1)the absolute difference of overall tourism economy in sichuan province is expanding year by year,and the difference of central sichuan is the most obvious in the four regions,while the expansion trend of the other three regions is relatively stable.The trend of the overall relative difference in Sichuan province is not obvious,but the difference remains.(2)The intra-group,inter-group and overall differences in Sichuan have a downward trend,and the intra-group differences have a greater impact on the overall differences in Sichuan.The contribution rate of each region to the overall tourism differences is central Sichuan > Western Sichuan > Eastern Sichuan >Southern Sichuan.The spatial autocorrelation analysis shows that the tourism income of all cities in Sichuan province has a positive spatial correlation,and the spatial distribution shows a phenomenon of aggregation.The tourism income of central and western Sichuan is mainly HH aggregation.The tourism income in eastern and southern Sichuan mainly forms LL aggregation.(3)determined by Hausman test,Wald and LR test using individual fixed space doberman model,direct effect decomposition,per capita disposable income,per capita total social investment in fixed assets,traffic accessibility,the third industry per capita GDP,the number of star hotel to promote the local tourism economy,the impact strength decreases,and in turn Per capita financial expenditure has a restraining effect on local tourism economic development;In the indirect effect decomposition,the spillover effect coefficient of per capita disposable income is positive,and the spillover effect coefficient of per capita total social fixed asset investment,per capita GDP of tertiary industry and number of star hotels is negative.Finally,according to the empirical analysis and research results of the tourism economic differences and influencing factors in Sichuan province,the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward to promote the balanced development of tourism in Sichuan Province.
