Our country continuously emphasized that innovation is the top priority for the economic development from the call of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” in 2014 to the release of National innovation-driven development strategy in 2016.Ultimately the individual is the executive subject of innovation policy no matter for innovation at national level or organizational level.This paper studied the innovative behavior of organizational employee from the individual level.Leadership is an important factor to influence the innovation of employee.This paper chose a popular leadership type in domestic research—authentic leadership by analyzing the literatures to research how much the authentic leadership influence employee innovative behavior and what effect it has.And this paper respectively introduced two intervening variables--psychological ownership and uncertainty avoidance by leader-member exchange theory and organization identity theory to explore the psychological mechanism that authentic leadership influences employee innovative behavior.The paper summarized and analyzed the connotation,dimensionality and scale of the four variables.On this basis,theoretical model is constructed and the research hypothesis is put forward.This paper made the scale reliability analysis,the analysis of correlation between variables,and regression analysis by empirical analysis method to verify the research hypothesis.The research results indicate that authentic leadership has significant positive impact on employee innovative behavior,and psychological ownership and uncertainty avoidance respectively play a part of the intermediary role between authentic leadership and employee innovative behavior.According to the research results,this paper made some detailed proposals about enterprise innovation management from the following three aspects: focusing on the cultivation and development of authentic leadership,constructing psychological ownership of employees and reducing uncertainty avoidance.At the same time,this paper concluded the drawback of research and the research direction in the future.
