Problems And Countermeasures Of Chinese Enterprises Operating In Italy

Italy is a country affected by the crisis,and in these years,the number of Chinese entrepreneurs has doubled.Some Italians think they’re a threat,because they compete with locals.Other Italians think they’re a resource,because they bring capital and jobs.However,many of them need to be more integrated into the Italian environment.Almost all Chinese entrepreneurs abroad have one thing in common: lack of international experience.As the domestic market is too saturated,many Chinese entrepreneurs have decided to go abroad.They also find support from OBAOR and "going out" policies.From the perspective of Italy,it’s a good opportunity to get rid of the crisis.The purpose of this article is to analyze the difficulties faced by Chinese entrepreneurs in Italy so as to find possible solutions to ensure the interests of both sides.After analyzing China’s FDI in Europe,we’ll analyze Chinese companies in Italy.Then we’ll analyze the negative aspects of Italy that may influence the choice of Chinese investors.This analysis will be very general and deal with issues that may involve investors of any nationality.After that,we’ll analyze specific issues faced only by Chinese companies operating in Italy and the related countermeasures.This paper is based on foreign sources,especially Italian ones.In writing this paper,I mainly rely on the Internet,especially using Google.In most cases,these are articles,blogs,forums,financial websites,online encyclopedias,surveys,and essays.This research paper has a funnel structure: In the first part of the article,the topic is very general,and then the specificity becomes stronger and stronger.At the end of the thesis,I came to a rather interesting conclusion: the specific problems faced by Chinese companies in Italy are mainly cultural,linguistic,and legal issues because of the marked differences in the mentality of the two distant countries.
