| Can the absorption of FDI improve the innovative efficiency of domestic enterprises in China? Is there a possibility that different quality characteristics of FDI have different effects on the innovation efficiency of our domestic enterprises? Since 1978,the process of China's reform and opening up has been deepening,and the economic development has made remarkable achievements.There is no doubt that foreign direct investment has played an important role in the rapid development of China's economy.Attracting foreign businessmen to invest in China is not only an important measure for our country to take an active part in the international division of labor,but also an important way for our country to fully absorb,learn and utilize advanced technology and management experience of other developed countries in the world.However,our country blindly introduce foreign capital,only laid emphasis on the amount of foreign capital expansion,and neglect to ensure the quality of foreign capital,which led to the different quality of FDI has entered China's market of foreign.The actual data in recent years showed that our domestic enterprises do not get the most advanced and key technology according to policy expectation.So far,it is difficult to surpass the technological gap between developed countries and independent innovation.The technological innovation activities of enterprises are a process of chain of innovation value,from the input of innovation elements to the condensation of innovation knowledge,and finally the transformation of innovation results.This study is based on the theory of three-stage innovation value chain,and the innovation process is divided into:knowledge innovation stage,research innovation stage,product innovation stage,using three stage DEA method to measure the overall efficiency and each stage of the innovation efficiency in China 282 cities from 2006 to 2015..The results showed that the differences found in China enterprise innovation efficiency is huge and is a low level.Especially low innovation efficiency seriously restrict the development of China's domestic enterprise innovation value chain.In addition,the independent innovation efficiency of FDI and enterprises have spatial attribute,through spatial correlation test,it was found that the three-stage innovation efficiency of Chinese enterprises and China's actual use of FDI does exist obvious spatial correlation,affirmed the rationality of using spatial econometric analysis methods to explore the relationship between the two.On this basis,we divide FDI into quantitative FDI and quality FDI and set up two interaction items.Combined with spatial Durbin model and effect decomposition theory,we further investigate the impact of FDI with different quality types on domestic enterprises' innovation efficiency.It is found that,at different stages of innovation,FDI inflow will have different effects.The change of FDI quality characteristics will enhance or offset the effect.Besides,the FDI policy adopted in the near area will also have an important impact on the innovation efficiency of domestic enterprises in the region.China's governments at all levels should combine the actual situation of the local and neighboring areas,actively explore and implement reasonable and effective FDI introduction policy,strengthen the understanding of the introduction of foreign-funded enterprises,and attach importance to the quality level of introducing foreign capital,and exert the backward technology spillover effect of foreign capital. |
